Bid on a signed MCR guitar for benefit for Chi from The Deftones
This week Deftones has launched a
benefit auction in support of their bassist and brother Chi Cheng. Chi has been in a semi-conscious state since being involved in a horrific car accident in November 2008, and his family has accumulated an overwhelming amount of medical bills that insurance does not entirely cover. It is Deftones’ mission to raise significant funds to help ensure Chi's recovery by launching this benefit auction in conjunction with their management Velvet Hammer Music and Management Group, and in association with CharityBuzz.com.
In support of this mission, My Chemical Romance have donated an Autographed ESP Guitar on which you can now bid, to further help this cause. Check out the auction here!

I've ran into the Chi stuff earlier, too, because I listen to KoRn and a couple of members were involved in the Chi Song Project :) I was all moved even back then and now I hear that MCR is giving their part in this very tragic event. I can only admire all those people who have been participating in Chi's medical care fees. There's truly some goodness left in this world. Great cause, guys. I know the guitar will be sold quickly ;)
