Lord God of Heaven and Earth above.
This man is so talented, I kind of want to throw a brick out a window. I knew he could sing, little snippets of Life on the Murder Scene really showed his vocals and every single live performance, he performed back up with Frank, but JESUS. His new song, which I could consider very pop-punk/alternative, is absolutely FAN.TAST.IC.
The lyrics are really great, very easy to connect with. The guitar solo in towards the end is GREAT and just for some reason makes me really really happy.
The guitar parts in general are amazing and the bass line is fantastic. Also, the beat is really catchy and easy to hang on to.
If you haven't listened to it yet, listen to it. It's very, VERY worth listening to.

So Ray recorded a song :) It's called "Isn't That Something" and it's fucking beautiful. He said: "I played everything. Sang everything. Recorded everything. Mixed everything. Myself." I love him. He is amazing and I really hope he will do more stuff like that. His voice is very soft and at the same time so emotional. It's perfect! Listen to it ;)

Mr. Toro sounds brutally fabulous in his new track. It's making me remember something.

Does anyone else remember a few years ago (somewhere around 2005? Maybe?) Ray Toro had a myspace music page (back when myspace was cool) and he uploaded a few songs that he played/sung in? There were only 2 or 3 songs I'm fairly sure, but they were solo projects of his.

Everyone I ask doesn't remember. Is my memory playing tricks on me? Or does anyone else remember these tracks?

You know what?
I love every single band that I bother to listen to, with every bit of my soul. Music is my life. It shouldn't be, not from my upbringing, but I broke away from the pattern and found my own way, and it's so much better than taking the SATs or ACTs (U.S. tests for college applications) in the 7th grade and aspiring to be a doctor or a lawyer.

I listen to Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, and things of the like because I LOVE THEM.

I love these bands because they're freedom and rebellion and everything that I believe in to me. They're *hope,* and without hope, you have nothing, because you have nothing to believe in. With every album, every song, every note, every stage, every gig, every pluck of a string, every note sung, every beat of a drum, every key hit, every tear, every bead of sweat, every kiss on stage, every explicit lyric; every violent, forbidden implication; they've become everything I believe in.
