I will never understand people's obsessions with their phones.

They just take over people's lives.
Seriously. At the end of the day, its not a person, it can't show you love, the words that pop up from other people are just words, not actions. And maybe words are better, each to their own.
But still. Its a hunk of metal.

Landslide by Fleetwood Mac is such a beautiful song. Anyway.
Hi guys, haven't been here in a while. Quick update, I turned 15 on Friday. 15 seems so much older than 14! But then again i guess people expect you to act more mature, which sucks a bit. I got a accoustic Fender, some paints and Green Days fabulous new album! To anyone thats listened to it, whats your favourite song? I love Stay The Night and Let Yourself Go. This is my Green Day drawing from ages ago. I love looking at Green Days lyrics more closely, they have such great and deep meanings.

It was amazing wasn't it?! So excited for this series that I sketched a dalek. I've never been able to draw them before, (they're quite complicated) but this one looks okay! :D
In other news, school in two days, but thats boring, so.
Plus dear older people (Sugar-Coated lies, this one's for you) don't give up on our generation! I shall leave with a quote from John Green.
' Awful things are survivable, because we are as indestructible as we believe ourselves to be. When adults say "Teenagers think they are invinsible" with that sly, stupid smile on their faces, they don't know how right they are. We need never be hopeless, because we can never be irreparably broken.'
I'm not sure what that had to do with anything, but I like that quote.
Have a great week guys, tell me what you though about Dr Who! :D

I do believe this is the best movie line ever.

You want to see a Miracle son?
Be the Miracle.

One of the best songs I've heard in a long time.

Just really makes me smile. :)

DUNUNUNUNUNUN Handwriting pen art!

Did this at half 11 last night whilst watching Source Code (an excellent film btw)
Hopefully its going up in a shop in my town :)
Thoughts would be appreaciated :)

For all those who don't know that stands for 'don't forget to be awesome'- a nerdfighterm term.
Today is Esther Earls birthday. She was sixteen when she unfortunatley lost a well fought battle with cancer. When she was sick, John Green (co-founder of nerdfighteria) asked her what she wanted nerdfighters to do on her birthday. She said she wanted us to tell our families and friends that we loved them.
Isn't that kinda beautiful?
So please, if you do just one thing today, tell your families you love them.

I'll just...yea...

There's a lot of confusing and crazy stuff circulating round, but I'm oblivious to the details, so I'm just gonna interuppt with some random unimportant stuff that you'll probably all just scrolll over XD
So, there's a new band shop in town, and they're considering putting some of my art behind the till. Not to sell or anything, just as a kind of promotion. SO this is a sample. The first is Green Day, from the 21st century breakdown thingy. Second is Blink.
I went to see Batman on Friday, on the first night it came out :3 Absaloubtley loved it, but I just want to say my thoughts go out to all those involved in the massacre at the premiere in Denver. I can't imagine how awful that would have been. The Joker is one of my favourite fictional characters; it saddens me that some people refuse to let him remain fictional.
Thanks for reading guys, if anyone did read x
And I hope the Way family are alright with whatever has happened.

I'm rockin' ouuuuuuuuut

So, I went to Blink almost two weeks ago now (wow, went fast) and I promised pics! (The first ones an exception, me rockin out to blink!) I was pretty damn proud of the other two as I was sitting two blocks from the stage and was only using the power of zoom and steady-handedness. The first is a siloutte of Mark with his bass, the second is Travis during his drum solo, just as the lazer hit him and his stick was in the air. Hope you like them as much as I do!
Have a great week guys :D
