So This Is Back

I guess I'm late to the party, since I just messaged the MCR twitter about this, but I guess the community section is back.

Anyways, I'm tired and jittery and ready for bed. Will check back in soon.

Guitar Progress

Just another update.

I practiced on my niece's acoustic today, and it things are going well. I am currently improving the way I position the guitar, my strum patterns, and holding the pick. I even started working on "Desert Song" by My Chemical Romance. The tabs kind of suck, but they are easy enough. If I work on it long enough it should sound decent.

That is sort of the best part: it sounds terrible. I'm only three official practices in, though, so I don't expect to play like Brian May. I can only improve from here.

Hope everything is going well for all you guys.

I have just finished electronically drafting Act One of the first part of my fanfiction series, and I am feeling very good about it! The entire thing is now drafted in multiple notebooks, so I am very close to having my sister (and basically my beta) read it so I can make sure it is good enough to post. At this rate, I could have it up sooner than I think, should I decide I still want to post it,

Just wanted to share, because I feel very good about this. Good night, Killjoys!

Little Update

I figured it is way overdue for me to post an update, since I used to do it so often and now it is very sparing. So, if any of you care, I will let you in on my creative/life projects. I just want to share them with you guys.

I am so close to having "All I Want" completely drafted. It is a MyChem fanfiction, and I've been working on it for close to a year now. I've posted some things about it on here asking for help, and those who responded have been very helpful. It has come down to 27 pages on a Word document, three notebooks filled and another that is currently being filled. I can't wait to get it finished, and you guys will be the first to know.

Hey guys. A few months have passed without me doing anything on here, but I've just been really busy with a lot of junk. School, life, and a lot of thinking are the main things. I've always been really comfortable with sharing things on here, so if you guys don't mind I am going to post something else to flood your dash this evening.

Attention Residents of CA and NJ

Hello! Jeez, it's been a long time since I've been on here. How is everyone?

Now that I'm back, I have to ask y'all a favor. As you know, I am currently working on a three-part fanfiction series. The first one is set in New Jersey (1994/1995 with the possibility of flashbacks), the second in both California and New Jersey (2005-2007), and the third mainly in California (don't worry too much about the year; it hasn't happened yet). I have never been to either of these states, so I just need some help with the setting. Mainly, the weather.

What is the weather like in New Jersey during winter, spring, summer, and autumn? How would you describe the aesthetic during these seasons?

Fanfiction 911

Okay, so the fanfiction is going to be set up in three parts. The third part is what I need help with.

This is the plan:

For the first two parts, I am going for complete realism. The first set in 1994 to 1995, the approximate year that Gerard Way graduated high school. The second is set in late 2005/2006, 10 years later.

About a Boy

As I said in my last post, my niece graduated from high school the other day. Her mother, and my sister, threw a nice party for her in the backyard of their house. It was lovely; a good amount of friends and family came, and we played over-sized Jenga. Anyways, I go to the food table and watch the little kids play for a bit. Someone beside me makes a comment (I can't remember what it was right now) and I turn to see a boy beside me. He has red hair and a goofy face. It is the good kind of goofy, where it is really cute. We introduce ourselves and go sit down.

Before I go any further, let me

Hello, Georgia!

I have been in Georgia with Family for just under a week now, and I am pretty damn happy! There is less drama, more activities, and I'm off work for two months!

*insert happy dance here*

I just wanted to update everyone on that. I will try to work on my fic some more and have it up by July/August. I keep pushing it up because I keep forgetting to work on it. It will get done, I'm just trying to think of what I want to do with it.

I slept in way too late today, but I feel like it's what I needed. From now on, I will not. It just wastes the day and I have too much stuff I want to do.

I will

Instrument Acquired!

On May 13th, 2014 at approximately 4:30 PM, Show Stopper the Fabulous Killjoy became the proud owner of a Fender Squire guitar from her good friend from school!

Best part, other than owning the damn thing? It only cost $60 plus patching up 3 pairs of the previous owner's jeans!

She is purple and her name is Baby. Needless to say, I am very excited to be learning how to play her. I have a book, internet, YouTube, and no prior experience. Any tips for a beginner?

Let's see how this goes!

Always with love,
