"the black parade"

gerard way sang to kids for the first decade of the 21st century, now he sings for the 99%...

spread the word.

MCR is the voice of the 99%.

frankie ends his whatever it is, story, blog, justification, explanation? actually, this post is anything but an explanation of this announcement. being a my chemical romance fan from arizona, is truly an roller coaster ride of exhilaration and disappointment. two extremes since 2008, which, was the last show in arizona i saw, when they opened their spring tour here, before their first long break. and though it wasn't their best show, i had seen them five times in a year and a half, from their black parade tour in phoenix which made me a hardcore fan, to projekt revolution, always floor tickets, always up front and personal, and also attended their last show in denver when gerard and lyndsey were married. also, being a major fan on the old chemical romance site which was an epic fan site, made many friends from around the world, two of which i'm still close with today. so much exhileration, until after 2008.

last night, june 7,, 2012!!! how could they not win after that legendary performance at reading festival august 2011? very happy for them.

Bob Dylan/Gerard Way-- Freedom Thinkers

If gerard way compiles a vast catalogue of lyrics, i'm certain he'll also have a medal of freedom hung around his neck by the president of the united states, forty years from now.

"It's Alright Ma, (I'm Only Bleeding) - Bob Dylan 1964

Darkness at the break of noon, Shadows even the silver spoon, The handmade blade, the child's balloon, Eclipses both the sun and moon, To understand you know too soon, There is no sense in trying.
Pointed threats, they bluff with scorn, Suicide remarks are torn, From the fools gold mouthpiece
The hollow horn plays wasted words, Proved to warn, That he not busy being born, Is busy dying.
Temptation's page flies out the door, You follow, find yourself at war, Watch waterfalls of pity roar
You feel to moan but unlike before, You discover That you'd just be One more person crying.
So don't fear if you hear, A foreign sound to you ear, It's alright, Ma, I'm only sighing.

time for a show mcr, why not join rise against at tempe beach park, sept. 28th??? please??

2 day festival, 30 acts, all genre's, hoping to see MCR's name on confirmed list!!

sounds wonderful, but would still like to see a true collaboration with someone like brooklyn's ben deitz, aka mathhead, aka passions, whose experimental tracs could possibly blend with mcr. he's going in the right direction though...he can do better, i know he can do better. must have these lyrics though.

this year you can multiple vote, strategic voting for band to win? for round 2, vote for phoenix.....MCRmy historically NEVER beats the echelon....also, coheed and cambria won it last year, so a vote against them is also a vote for MCR....come on people, lets use some strategy this year. go MCR, go MCRmy!

Sooo, MCR joins the ranks of those who go grammyless...not to fear guys, you're in great company.

Led Zeppelin, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Queen, Neil Young, The Grateful Dead, The Doors, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Janice Joplin, Diana Ross, and Bob Marley, have never won a grammy.

DANGERDAYS, well thought out, intelligent, full sounding album. Best band of the 21st century. Best work to date. Keep at it. Your music will live on, you're ahead of your time..Singers and rappers too shall pass. Damn, when Glen Beck gets it? Your peers respect. Revered in UK and Europe? Your fans in the states are the few who get great music.

Don't wait so long for next album. Get er done, or, your careers will be over before your best works come out. Comic books, dad time, you multi taskers can do it all. Go for it.

all comments welcome, but if you live in arizona, and especially if you're mexican, please feel free to express your feelings on this subject in hopes that jeff will read this...

as a resident of arizona, this is an appeal to the band to play here and not penalize their fans....
why is it some artists understand that boycotting their music show will not impact the local economy, it's more a fashion statement than anything else, and the only ones who suffer are the fans.
both elton john and lady gaga continue to do shows here stating there are more effective ways of dealing with sb1040 than canceling a music show.... like protesting, and organizing a vote to overturn this poorly written law that the courts are already dealing with....a law that was legislated, not voted for by the citizens of this state.....

Hearings and rulings in Arizona on sb1040.........
