It's not emo, right? Or... is it?

So anyway, I'm kind of a wannabe writer and I wrote this section as part of this novel thing I've been working on (310 pages and counting, yaaayy). But I showed this tiny bit to this girl and she said it was emo! I mean, the narrator is hardly a bucket of sunshine, granted, but I really hate the description emo. And I know we MCRmy know that emos don't exist, but... can you let me know if it is... a sort of emo piece of writing?
(PS, I always write from a male POV, in case you were wondering. My female POV always ends up sounding whiny for some reason) Here goes:

I turn my eyes to hers and

World issues and Easter Holidays...

So just want to know, how many of you guys are really into eco/world issues? Because no-one at my school is really interested, and it just makes me feel like a nerdy freak for caring. But at the same time, I know what I am doing is right because I can't just sit back and watch climate change and things take over... it's just annoying that no-one cares. What do you killjoys think? Are any of you eco-warriors?
I believe climate change is a really important issue... I keep a blog on the subject so if you want to check it out here's the link: http://savingtheworldfrommykitchen.blogspot.com
Let me

OH MY GOD... STOP SPAMMING.

SERIOUSLY. Over the whole weekend the only blogs I've seen have been spam. Just STOP IT. Jeez. Can't they see that NOBODY is interested?
Woo I sound like a hormonal brat, but I don't care. Just stop it, okay?
Not impressed.

Killjoys and Earth Hour...

So today is Earth Hour... basically, a day where everyone turns their lights off for one hour to help stand against climate change. I don't know if any of you have heard of it, it's run by WWF, but I'd really like it if some of the Killjoys would join me in our fight to protect this planet and turn their lights off this evening with us! It's at 20:30-21:30... one hour, worldwide. Together, we can really make a difference and stand up against climate change.
"It's not just about an hour of darkness. It's about a brighter future."
It's one hour. One hour to suffer without light.

Ghosting?

This one's a question for all you Danger Days fans out there... in Jet Star and the Kobra Kid traffic report, what does Dr. D mean when he says they 'got themselves ghosted'? I always wonder. So in relation to the concept, what is ghosting? It'd be cool if you could let me know xD

Oh yeah, and I remembered I wanted to tell you guys about these, too...

So guys, I've been making MCR plushies for a while now, and here's how some of them have turned out! Ahh, I've done Party Poison, Kobra Kid and the whole of the Black Parade. My fingers are bleeding and my back is cramped from all the sewing, but it's all been worth it to have mini huggable Gerards and Franks and Mikeys and Rays! I've uploaded a couple of pictures, so tell me what you think! And also, if you're interested in some of my plushies, I have a facebook page for my work http://www.facebook.com/pages/Alices-Plushies/177429125643867?ref=ts (click the link or search Alice's Plushies)

Climate Change

Just wanted to know, how many of you guys genuinely care about global warming and climate change?
It's not a nagging or disapproval-inducing question, but I just really want to know how bothered people are about it.
I'm a passionate eco-warrior but I sometimes feel like I'm the only one who cares.
Do any of you guys care a lot about it?
By the way, I've started up a climate change blog on blogger.com if anyone's interested in reading it, I'll put the link: http://savingtheworldfrommykitchen.blogspot.com/ - I just feel like I need to outline the bigger picture to us all- we live in a life of

Exciting news xD

So I've got some pretty exciting news xD
I've been given the opportunity to write regular articles and reviews for a music magazine! I'm pretty happy about that; I can interview artists and help promote new music should I accept it. (I think I will)
Another piece of excitement, although it's pretty juvenile to get too excited... It's my birthday tomorrow! Meh, I don't think I'll get anything, although maybe I'll get some money for my volunteering trip to the Himalayas in India I'm going to next year, so that'll be good :) I'm also going out for a meal with a couple of friends.

I'm so going on about this all the time but...
