I want to enter this in a poetry competition but im quite sure if its good enough. Cand i get some feedback please?
Cold hands touch my spine,
but I cant feel a thing.
Darkness hugs my chest too tight.
I’m breathing the liquid of my soul,
in this dark box called home.
White walls that fill my bloodshot eyes,
but I cant see a thing.
Pain breaks loose, my heart is gone.
I’m struggling to hang on to myself,
In this dark box called home.
They stole my bloody body.
They stole my shattered soul.
The stole my human sanity.
They stole my only home.
I’m leaving here I wont come back,
and I don’t care one bit.
Heal my soul, my heart won't stop.
I’m holding on to what I could have been,
in this dark box called home.
