Get Up and Go!

My friend is a kick ass photographer, that's all I really gotta say. She snapped this picture of me at Anime North a few days ago, rock on Katie! The title of this blog has no significance other than the fact that My Chem kicks ass. Stating the obvious FTW! G'night Killjoys!

Got Japan on the Brain! :D

I have totally just found a new love for Japanese culture! So much so, that today I went to Toronto and enrolled in the Toronto Japanese Language School. I start in September and will have my degree (certificate, whatever) by June 2012! I'm very excited that at the end of next year I will not only be partially fluent in Japanese but hopefully visiting, if not working in Japan! :) Keep running!

Merch, Gimme Merch, Gimme Merch!

I almost finished off my Umbrella Academy collection!!! I added the action figures to it today after getting them yesterday at Anime North (A convention). I'm very pleased with all the awesome merch I was able to pick up. I'm still reeling from the amazing time I had this weekend. Keep sae killjoys! Cheers.

Anime North 2011!

I had the most amazing time over the weekend. I went to Anime North (A Japanese Animation Convention in Toronto, ON) and it was awesome! Best of all I met some amazing, wonderful and beautiful Killjoys rockin' the convention, which made me truly see how incredible the MCRmy is! I went as Party Poison myself and also got to take some pictures with some childhood idols like Yu-Gi-Oh's Dark Magician who nearly met the sting of my ray guns laser beam! All-in-all I had a blast and hope to see some killjoys kickin' around Anime North 2012! Keep running :)

#SINGitForJapan - Art Print No. 1

Well, after much delay I'm finally able to post my #SINGitForJapan art prints. This print, called "Do I Have to Spill it Out for You?" is a statement toward the obligation to donate for the relief effort. I believe a strong portion of Canada's economy is based from products directly or indirectly from Japan. I wouldn't want to bully people into donating just for the hell of it, I would like them to realize why and take a good hard look at the products we use everyday. Chances are you won't be shy of a "Made in Japan" sticker. Thank you, and enjoy the print.

#SINGitForJapan Art Fundraiser :)

As my contribution for #SINGitForJapan, tomorrow the first of many art prints will be released in the #SINGitForJapan Art Fundraiser. Please go to the Facebook link below for more details on how to order prints, and how to be a part of the #SINGitForJapan Art Fundraiser to benefit the beautiful people of Japan!

Thank you MCRmy, your support means the world to me! Keep running!
