Hello Friends,

It's December 19th, and everyone around the world is celebrating tons of different holidays in all shapes and sizes. I wanted to take this opportunity to wish every one of you guys and girls a safe and amazing holiday season.
This was always one of my favorite times of year growing up. People were a little less stressed and you got to be with a ton of family and friends you hadn't seen in forever.
Take a second to step back and appreciate all the great people around you. 2009 was a difficult and confusing year for many, and now it kind of feels like the light at the end of the tunnel is visible. We love you guys and cannot wait to show you what’s in store for 2010.

Like the elegant wing-ed Phoenix of legend, the My Chemical Romance website has indeed "leveled up". We can now all participate in the fun and rewarding experience known as blogging. I'm still getting used to the interface, so bear with me folks. Let the good times roll and keep it clean everybody. "no swings to the face, and no mom jokes!"

Sorry about my recent lack-of-blogging. We have been trapped inside of an honest to goodness rock and roll vortex. These past few weeks, we have been hammering away at our fourth album in a "secret" "underground" "subterranean" studio. Part of me wants to spill all the details, song titles, subliminal messages, blazing solos etc etc but that would be no fun at all. Where's your sense of adventure? I think that if you wait just a little bit longer that you'll thank me for it in the end. Just a little bit longer..

During the writing process, we have used countless dry erase surfaces to chronicle the progress of the record. Can you decipher the clues?? Break out your little orphan annie decoder rings guys and gals.

Without getting too preachy, i would like to celebrate the re-adding of some videos to our site. It's no mystery to anybody, that countless record companies and youtube are caught in a gigantic pissing match. Unfortunately, the fans are the ones that are truly suffering from this ordeal. Like many artists on many labels, our videos were removed from youtube. We were 200 percent against this as..... A) we are huge youtube fans! b) we held two records for most viewed music videos. c) youtube is doing what most televised musical programming no longer does,...and thats play videos. If you look at the top of our site, there is a shiny new link for VIDEOS. simply click on it, and enjoy! We love you guys, expect some mammoth updates very very soon

Apparently today is Star Wars Day. When you pun May 4th, you can greet and harass your friends or enemies with "May the 4th Be With You" . This phrase has gone on to spawn a holiday. Not sure what it means yet, having just found out about it this morning. With the country/world being so bleak, a Star Wars Day doesn't sound half bad. I'm gonna celebrate the holiday by watching that crazy Jefferson Starship song from the Star Wars Holiday Special a few times.

Here we have a 25 foot inflatable wizard. This beauty most definately took residence atop either a car dealership or a swinger's party. if I still drank heavily, i would have undoubtably hit the "Buy It Now" button without an after-thought. However, with some proper time to think, i would probably wind up buying this drunk or not.
Verdict: will purchase at a later date
