MCR smash it, AGAIN!

I don't know what formula My Chem use to write AWESOME tunes but whatever it is, it's a winning one!

Single One, Two and Three of Conventional Weapons have been hidden under a bushel for too long and why they were hidden is beyond me because here we have six absolutely phenomenal songs and as is always the case, I simply cannot choose a favourite. Once again, we hear the results of super songwriting and excellent musicianship.

I waited up until midnight for the third time running last night to get my copy of Single Three; a lovely early Christmas present to myself.

Let's Get Contaminated, Killjoys!

What do Mommy's and Daddy's do when they have a night off from their baby's? Well, this Mommy and Daddy went to see My Chemical Romance at LG Arena, Birmingham! (whilst Aunty Ella looked after our little girl, Molly) And what a great night off it was!

It was an astounding show. Stripped back and raw? Yes. Fresh, colourful and vibrant? Yes. A triumphant return? Yes. Having seen MCR so many times, I can honestly say that they constantly evolve their show and sound. It was amazing to see and hear the band without any of the pomp and flambouyance that accompanied The Black Parade.

Pre-sale Jitters? Naaahhhh, no need!

"It may be winter outside but in my heart it's spring!" OMFG. I. HAVE. 2. STANDING. TICKETS. FOR. BIRMINGHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hubby's just online now to try and get two for Nottingham as well, so hopefully we'll get our double MCR fix in Feb all being well.

This time I will wait all night if I have to to meet my favourite band of merry men.

See you in Feb guys!

Pre-sale Jitters?

OH MY GAWD!!!!!! Is anyone else feeling sick with nerves for getting presale tickets or is it just me? Not being funny right, I'm 31 and you'd think I'd have grown up a bit but no, I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning. Arrrgggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Think I might cry if I don't get mine. I will keep my fingers crossed for you all as long as you do the same for me!

Good luck everyone. Much love

MCR Rock Manchester 02 Apollo

I was sick with excitement on the way to Manchester on Sunday 24th October 2010. Why? Well, duh! I was on my way to see My Chemical Romance at the 02 Apollo.

On arrival at our hotel, my Sister phoned to say that she and her husband were on their way? Great! It really wouldn’t be long at all now. I was itching to get going and watch MCR perform live for the 7th time. I was also excited about meeting my long time pal, Heather McDaid.

What a year!!!!!

To say that this year has been a veritable rollercoaster is, to be fair, the understatement of the century.

In March, I gave birth to my beautiful little girl, Molly Rose which I can honestly say was the best day of my life; my wedding day coming a very close second. So, what could possibly put a dampner on this joyous event? Well, on the Monday morning after I was discharged from hospital, my Grandad got rushed into hospital.

Now, my Grandparents meant the world to me. I'd already lost my Nan in Jan 09 and that devastated me.
