Okay, that song has nothing to do with this. I just happen to be listening to it.

So... Sometime in the near future is 'Clean Up Australia Day'. I don't know when and I don't actually care. But they were talking about it at school assembly - they try to encourage us students to go out in our uniforms on the weekend to pick up rubbish, umm no thanks - and they kept saying 'Shtrayaa' instead of 'Australia'. This annoys me for some reason. Why can't they talk properly? Also, I found out that 'dunno' is a word in the Australia Spell Check dictionary in MS Word, but not in the American or UK. WTF?

If I wasn't Australian, I'd say as a country, we're a fucking stupid one. Wait, I AM saying that.

LOL I hate my friends. I'm not serious. But I hate the people who call themselves my friends. My real friends are the Cyanide guys and their "groupie". no one really calls her that really, but that's pretty close to what the bastards say she is.

Cyanide is the name of a small high-school rock band. Lol. And they're the reason for my current rant.

I just reactivated my facebook account. And I don't know why. Actually, I do. But it seems stupid now.
See, one of the 'popular' guys in my grade my a facebook group called 'Cyanide Stinks'. Apparently it's quite popular amongst people in our grade, including my 'friends'. They all think Cyanide are rubbish. But they have got no taste in music whatsoever.
Actually, I've never even heard Cyanide play. But the drummer's a pretty cool guy and I think he's pretty good. And the guitarists are [in my opinion] brilliant. They have a bass player-in training and no vocalist. So everyone hates them because they play Metallica and Iron Maiden and don't have someone that actually sings.

Insomnia. Full stop. I can't sleep. I never can. Most people would blame it on coffee. I can sleep anytime during the day, but as soon as the sun goes down I can't stop. I can't shut down. Hence why I am writing this right now. Last night was one of the worst nights of my life. Some nights are bad, but I wasn't even sick last night. Unless you count 'sick in the head'. I pretty much cried myself to sleep around 11:30 and still woke up at 2:00 am to fall asleep again at 3:30 to be awake at 6:30 to get ready for school. I hate waking up. Most of the time my dreams are pretty good. They make a nice change from reality. I live to dream. If I never had the chance to escape out of my life, I'd be dead. I spend most of my spare time writing stories, or comics, and occasionally making rough attempts at songs. And mostly none of them are actually based on fact.

Explanation: It's Australia Day tomorrow, January 26. The day this big island became a nation or some crap. They tried to teach us in primary school what it was all about, but I've long forgotten.

But that's not what we celebrate tomorrow. Tomorrow will be about cooking sausages on a barbeque and drinking beer with your mates. And then forgetting about the sausages and letting them burn. And then feeding them to the dog. But it's okay, because another mate just turned up with more sausages. And then it starts raining, so you abandon the bbq and head inside to watch cricket on the TV (and your girlfriend brings you drinks when you or any of your mates ask).
That sums up all of Australia's culture.

And this is why I want to leave as soon as I can.
