It's fucking scary to live in the UK right now. I don't live in London but I have a lot of friends there, luckily there haven't been any major fatalities but there have been a few close calls. I can't say the same for a lot of other people in London though.

I live just outside of Birmingham, which saw a huge riot last night. It feels like we're living in the dark ages right now but seeing the MCRmy hashtag lets a little bit of light into the situation. It's amazing to know you're all thinking of us.

Please use the hashtag to spread the word about the cleanups and tell people to follow @riotcleanup to help out. Also I've heard that people on this website are worried about all this might spread to their area. I'm told that if you search for your postcode on twitter then you should be able to see if anything is being planned in your area. As horrible as it is apparently that's how these idiots are planning things.
