"Come on Juliet. Think. Are you sure you don't know who I am?" I asked her. She nodded. "I don't know who any of you are." Her face was empty, no recognicion anywhere in her features. Juliet was still alive, in her body, but her spirit was gone. We figured that she would be better and that her memory would be jogged by that night, but she still didn't know who we were. Juliet couldn't remember anything. I showed her pictures of us together, played our favorite music, and a ton of other things about us, but nothing worked. All I got from her were some blank stares.
I woke up what seemed like three minutes later being punched in the face by someone. It was a Draculoid, who said "Get up. Now." I was so tired, I didn't dare question him, but I couldn't really hear him. My thoughts were still clouded by sleep. "GET UP YOU LAZY ASS!" He yelled, yanking my arm to get me off the bed. "Where's Luke?" I asked frantically. "Don't worry. Actually, you should worry... but he's safe.... relatively speaking." Then he cackled, a sound that rattled me to my core. There was a white van parked in front of our little hideout, and I hoped he was inside.
The rest of the night was oddly quiet without her screaming. She'd fallen asleep a few minutes earlier, her eyes filled with tears. Her legs and arms were red and blistered with heat. The ends of her bright pink hair were singed, blackened by the fire. She smelled like a smoking addict. As I sat outside, I heard her cough and hack loudly every now and then in her sleep. Suddenly I saw Luke run up to the door. "Where is she?!" I pointed inside. "In there." He ran inside, looking for her frantically.
I had a nightmare. A horrible one.
Here's the deal:
As some of you that talk to me know, I'm an irish dancer. This Sunday, on TLC, there's going to be a special showing of the movie "Jig," an English movie that came out this summer about the irish dacne world championships. If you want to see just what it is I do, and if you want to watch an amazing movie, I suggest you watch it. I'm nowhere NEAR as amazing as these dancers are, but this is just a small smattering of what the irish dance world has to offer.

(THE NEXT MORNING. LUKE'S POV)
I opened my eyes, expecting to see Juliet next to me, but I was all alone. The apartment was quiet. I was surprised, then pissed off. How could she leave me after last night? I couldn't believe it. I wanted to think this was a horrible dream, but after pinching my arm until I had a small red whelt, I knew I was awake. I pulled a picture of us out of my pocket and ripped it in half without even thinking about it. She was beautiful, everything I'd ever wanted in a girl. How could she just leave me alone in this horrible world?
"All right, y'know what? I need a drink. Let's go." He said. I looked at him, an eyebrow raised. "Where?" He got up, and extended me a hand. "We're going to a secret bar that a Killjoy I know runs." I followed him a few feet. "It's not far, is it?" He shook his head as he inspected the rocks around us. "It should be one of these..." he muttered to himself. Once he found the right one, he pulled it open, revealing a small hole in the ground. He climbed in it, and motioned for me to do the same. When our feet were on the ground, I looked around and saw a normal looking bar underground.
(A FEW HOURS LATER)
"Okay.... I think we're safe." Luke panted in between breaths once we'd found the only place in Zone 6 that wasn't constantly monitored. "I'm so sorry. This was all my fault." I said to him. "How was that your fault?" He asked. I shook my head. "I don't know. It just was. I usually find a way to screw stuff like this up. You know me." He brushed a piece of my hair out of my eyes. "You didn't screw up. You did what you had to do." I chuckled. "Just admit it. I screwed up." He just laughed, then kissed me again. "Okay, best way to shut me up ever." I said. He smiled.
I woke up with a start in the middle of the desert, all alone. I was coated in a fine layer of desert sand. The sun shone in my face with the intensity of a spotlight. I shot up, looking around frantically, trying to piece together what happened, where I was in the zones. All I saw was the endless sand dunes surrounding me on all sides. I couldn't think of what to do, so I curled up in a ball and started crying my eyes out. "A Killjoy alone out here is a dangerous thing." I heard someone say. I turned around and saw Luke standing a few meters away from me. "Could get caught. Hurt.
I just wanted to take the time to say merry christmas and happy hannukah to everyone here! hope your holidays are everything you want them to be.
