Hey guys! So I was cleaning my room (yeah I was that bored) and I found a poem I started writing but never finished so I got to finishing it just now and I just wanted to share it with you guys and see what you thought! I'm thinking of entering it into a poetry contest my teacher told us about. Grand prize is $500.00 and my family is in a bit of a tough situation right now so idk how much this money would help but I guess a little. If I win that is..... But I'll give it a shot! Please tell me what you guys think! Here's the poem! I don't really have a title for it yet....if you guys have any suggestions please leave them in comments! Thank you!

See these rocks they're rare to find
See this stone it's beautiful from inside
From the mind of the shattered sleeping with pain by their side
From the heart of the broken and simple lies
Where I walk isn't broken glass
Where I walk is on shameful pasts
Of the broken, defeated, lying, and beaten
Where I walk is a place called home

Hey guys!....wow i haven't posted a blog in a while! But I just wanted to share with you guys this....I know a lot of you may not be religious but I'm Catholic! And so at one of our catechism classes a few weeks ago we were talking about giving something up for lent. And everyone was saying things like desert and video games and stuff like that and I don't know what I was thinking but I said I'd give up listening to MCR for the period of lent! I don't regret it because now I can't wait to listen to them again but I also think that it allows me to focus not only on some other artists but also on my drawings too! Don't get me wrong I love these guys more than anything really but I think this time without them is gonna deepen my appreciation not only for their music but for the band itself as well. Oh and I just gave up listening to them so I can still look up pictures and stuff just not their music! What do you guys think of my decision?

Hey guys! So I don't how many of you may or may not like poetry but I wrote this poem last year for a poetry cafe we were doing for my ELA class. Everyone at school was really surprised by it but I've never shared it with anyone other than that day at school so I was just wondering what you guys might think of it! It's a little long I know but it's based on Romeo and Juliet which I had just finished reading so it was an easy topic to write about also my great grandma had just passed away at the time so at the end of the poem when it came to writing about death that came kinda easy too... but hope you guys like it and I'd love feedback cause I've written many other poems and always looking to improve! Thanks! And the name of my poem is Bitter Fate.

Bitter Fate

Sick of the fake smiles and chatter around
My head spins and I wish to fall to the ground
Taking my cascading gown I hide behind the curtain
And I'm alone of that I am certain
Until your delicate fingers fall upon mine
