Chapter 23

When I woke up Gerard was gone so I decided to do a little snooping; I know it is wrong but I wanted to know the younger Gerard. I opened up a drawer and found a sketch pad; which I opened of course. Hey, we’re married now; there shouldn’t be any secrets. As I looked through each page has drawings of me; page after page after page. Here and there were few drawings of other things and people I’ve never seen, but mostly me.

“You know, it’s not nice to go through other peoples stuff.” I heard a voice from the doorway. It scared the shit out of me; I jumped as soon as he started talking. It was Gerard, “I am married now, I think it would be ok with my husband.” I said continuing to look through the pad. “You like it?” he asked. “They are amazing; when did you draw these?” I asked. He seemed like a bit of a stalker because I was not aware of when he drew these. “I drew one every day I saw you in science.” He said. “Wow, that’s not creepy at all.” I said with a grin.

Chapter 22

When I showed up I was greeted by Frank. When I walked in someone came up to me and hugged me; it was franks dad. “I would remember that blonde hair anywhere! Good to see you Diana” he said lightly hugging me. “It’s nice to know that so many people remember me” I said. “So what has changed since first grade? Besides you getting taller! You’re taller than Frankie!” he said. “Well I got to see Frank again which was cool! I got married to Gerard, Dropped out of my internship, and my best friend is engaged to a movie star. And I can’t believe Frank used to be taller than me!” I said smiling. “Very interesting” he said.

Chapter 21

When we landed we took a cab to Gerard’s old house. It was adorable; 69 Salter Place in Belleville, NJ. When we got to the door Gerard knocked and when the door opened he shoved me in first. “DIANA!” yelled his little mom, she was the most adorable person I’d ever seen, she was short and had big poofy blonde hair. “It’s lovely to see you Mrs. Way” I said as I sat down on her couch. “I think you need to start calling her mom” said Gerard while looking around at all the pictures of himself and Mikey. “What do you mean ‘mom’?” she asked. “Oh Diana and I got married” Gerard said casually, finally sitting next to me.

She gasped, “OH MY GOODNESS! I HAVE A DAUGHTER!” she yelled. She had the biggest smile on her face, “I’ve wanted a daughter my whole existence” she said while hugging me. “Thanks mom really” Gerard said pulling me by my waist after the hug. Just the little things like that made me want to attack that boy, he was even more irresistible.

Chapter 20

I was answered with a yes. That’s where we got married, backstage in casual clothing; it couldn’t have been any more perfect. I called Anna during the show, “Guess what just happened.” I said waiting to explode. “What?” she said sleepily. “First of all, do you know what time it is?!” I asked. “Yeah, why. Sorry I’m so tired; I’ve been in bed all day.” She said. “Oh, busy with Rob huh?” “Shut up….maybe” she said. “Oh my god! How was it?” I asked excitedly. This hasn’t even happened to me yet; I wanted to know all about her experience. “It was magical” she said. “I’m happy for you. When are you two getting married and having beautiful sparkly vampire babies?” I asked joking.

Chapter 19

“You could go but do you really want to put your future into the band?” I asked her. “Sort of.” She said. “You have to make a choice Anna” I said. “I simply can’t. It’s going to suck not having you there at the apartment, it’s going to suck not having you work with me at Ralph’s, and it’s going to suck not having you there to talk to and laugh with.” She said crying harder. Was this what I was giving up? My best friend in the world?

“What about Robert?” I asked. She has been dating this guy named Robert Pattinson. I thought he had potential to be an actor and he had tried out for some roles but nothing serious. “He is amazing.” She said laughing with a stuffy nose from crying. “Ask him to move in and work with you at Ralph’s; on the weekends you two can go out for auditions. I will call you and fill you in; I promise we won’t be apart that long. I will be back before you know it. I promise.” I said while tearing up.

Chapter 18

“He told us all about you when we were first a band. He saw this blonde girl with blue eyes and sighed the name ‘Diana’. We all asked him what that was all about and he told us everything; even the part where he still loved you” Frank said scampering away from Gerard incase he hit him. “What did I say Frank! Shut up!” he said running after Frank. Frank managed to get away quickly and run to another band for protection; he was short, short equals light, and light equals faster.

“Well this was nice and I think it’s time for us to go” said Anna. “Yeah, we should really go. There’s lots of other bands we’d love to check out; and plus I’m starving.” I said as we headed out the door. “Wait!” yelled Gerard. He ran after me, “Can I uh, steal Diana for a second?” Gerard asked Anna. I was shaking my head no; but she wanted to have fun with my pain, “sure” she said. Ughhh what did Anna just do?

Chapter 17

“Shit” I said as I turned back around and started walking; I just wanted this whole thing to end. All of the memories came flooding back to me. I ran into Anna on my way to get away from Gerard who was following me. “Whoa, slow down speed racer” she said laughing to herself. “This is no time for jokes you—good friend of mine” I finished as I turned around to see Gerard in front of me. “Hey.” He said while staring at how I’d changed over the years. I looked at him; he had managed to get even hotter. He was irresistible.

Chapter 16

”Annnnnddddddd……… CALLER NUMBER 7! YOU ARE THE LUCKY WINNER OF BACKSTAGE PASSES TO THE WARPED TOUR 2005!” My heart stopped; I won! I WON! It’s been 14 years since I was a freshman in high school. I was interning at a hospital and managed to get some time off for the warped tour; I was on my way to becoming a dermatologist.

“How does it feel Diana?” asked the radio guy on the phone. “It feels amazing! I can’t wait!” I said while jumping up and down. “With this pass you are able to go and walk around; meet the bands for a while.” “Wow, I can’t wait.” I said excitedly. “Alright, stay on the line so we can get your information during the break.” “Will do” I said.

After giving them my information they told me I would get it in the mail in about 2 weeks.

I would post another chapter tonight but the story is on my laptop which is in my room. My dog just got sprayed by a skunk so my room is full of the smell. Hope you will all understand! Thank you!

Chapter 15

I felt my heart sink into my feet and fall out of my body. I couldn’t feel my legs and collapsed. Everything went black. Then I remember waking up and seeing Gerard; his cast was off by now so he could hold me. “What the hell? Why do you have to go to Jersey?” I said while tears ran down my face again. “My mom can’t find a job here. We just can’t stay here. I’m sorry.” He said still crying. “So that’s just it; you’re just going to leave?” I asked. It seemed to crush him inside, “Yes, I’m sorry. I never wanted to hurt you.” “When exactly are you leaving?” I asked. “I’m going to finish testing then I’m leaving.” He said. “So you’re not even staying for the last day of school?” I said while crying my eyes out. He just shook his head.
