I don't need MCR anymore

For the last few years, I've been dependent on MCR. They've got me through some tough times and some not so tough. I've believed that I need them. And. I don't!

It's a good feeling! I'm letting go of my...obsession with MCR. My addiction-call it what you will. I'm letting go. And it feels great.

I owe MCR a lot. There have been times in the past when I've held onto them at all cost- for fear of, something. I'm not sure what I was so scared of, but whatever it was, MCR held me up. I'm over that fear. I don't need them anymore.

Haha! My demo has been completed and has taken CD form!!

It consists of three tracks : "Please Plead and Don't Tell (Three Years Past)", "I Don't Wanna Go" and "17 Hours". The first two tracks are also on Soundcloud and floating on my facebook page somewhere.

Looking forward to playing London this weekend (Hootananny's Brixton at half 9) and my next gig is in the restaurant "Joy Of Taste" on the 25th in Inverness (Scotland) :) xxx

As you all probably know (if you don't there must be something wrong with you) Harry Potter is drawing to an end.

I would have been about two years old when "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" was first published, and by the time I was five or six my parents were reading them to me as bed time stories.

When I was thirteen I sat down and read the books myself. Personally, they are one the greatest things I've ever come across in my life. I can remember the fights I had with my parents and sister when "The Deathly Hallows" was first published - fighting over who got to read it first!

I wont give any spoilers away for people reading this and haven't read the books but this feels like the end of my childhood.

Although, technically, the books finished a while ago (and I think the books are far better than the films) the end of this film really marks the end of an era. The Harry Potter Generation.

My mum just told me to take off my "Homophobia is Gay" t-shirt. She sad "Your going to school! Not some .. gay walk!"

I dont think she understands how much that hurt my feelings. I'm not gay, but I've got very strong views on homophobia. My step dad is homophobic and loves winding me up about my views, and my mum never does anything to stop him. She just tells me to "take a joke" and to "not let it get to me" but it does! The t-shirt is NOT inappropriate, its a casual day at school today. People wear t-shirts with vegetarian signs on them, and animal cruelty and stuff - so whats wrong with mine!!

I'm going to wear it anyway obviously. But she's really upset me and I just needed to vent.
