I'm Sasha Lukaszczyk. Add me on Facebook.

I heard My Chemical Romance back when "I'm Not Okay" came out in 2004. I was only 9 but I had a pretty broad musical knowledge from my mother and older sister. I remember hearing it for the first time driving around New York City with my family. Funny thing is that I can't remember what we were doing there though. My sister ended up buying the album but I listened to it more than her. She eventually fell out of love with the band but I always remained a loyal fan. I grew up with Three Cheers, Black Parade, and even loved Danger Days. I went back in time and discovered Bullets too.

worst day of my life.

I sorta can't believe it. Honestly, maybe it's just denial, but I REALLY feel like this won't be permanent. Think of so many bands that "broke up" just to come back together again. Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco! ....I don't know. I feel so empty. I had a job interview today and on the whole car ride there and the whole car ride back I blasted Three Cheers. It just takes me to another place. I don't know what I'm gonna do. And just 2 days ago I was jamming to Danger Days after not listening to it for a few months during one of my workouts.

GOT A TATTOO! Oh...and turned 18

So my life is still sorta shitty from my last blog but I decided I want this post to be happy and upbeat because I had an absolutely eggscellent weekend! (get it, eggs? idk.) So this past Saturday, January 19th, I had a ballin party with a bunch of friends and family to celebrate my becoming an adult and turning 18. I had a cake with Norman Reedus (aka Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead, sooooo hot) and a lot of other good stuff. And then today I got contacts AND MY FIRST TATTOO!!! It says "smile like you mean it" which is a song from The Killers, a band I love as much as MCR.

I flee to, I flee to decemberunderground.

Things have gotten much, much worse since I wrote that blog post a couple of months back about breaking things off with my boyfriend. I understand that this is the last place to turn to for me to speak, but I'm honestly so god damn lazy to even do that. I don't have enough motivation to even talk about the turmoil that's swirling around me like pesky summer time bugs. And I bet people won't show too much interest in this post either. Probably because I'm not directly screaming out for help like I did in that other blog so everyone will just scroll past this.

I know listening to leaked songs is bad. I've never done it before, for any band ever. But I just could not resist listening to The World is Ugly. And it is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo incredible I can't even. It made it on my list of "feels" songs. Meaning songs that can easily put a tear in my eye. Ugh, so ah-mazing.

I'm a horrible person!

So Hurricane Sandy kinda ruined everything...

I live in new jersey, and I'm sure you all know about how hard we were hit by the recent storm. It was honestly a lot worse than I thought it was gonna be. Although the hurricane itself was a category 1, it was mixed in with a nor'eastern and a full moon to create a freakish "perfect storm" that is considered to have effects equivalent to a category 3 hurricane. The state is practically wiped out, mostly the shoreline. Whole boardwalks are gone without a trace, houses are floating in the middle of highways, and amusement park rides are in the atlantic ocean.

The Perks of Being From New Jersey...

I've always been proud to be from New Jersey. Some people rag on it, but I always see the good. You got NYC, you got beaches, you got beautiful fall weather and the changing of leaves, and it's all quite modern.
And plus, My Chem is from here so HELLOOO. But further, I live 2 towns away from the famous Belleville, New Jersey. :DDDD And it's funny to think that just last week I went to a bowling alley there with my friend; a bowling alley that the Way brothers could have easily gone to. And tonight, I'm going to a haunted house there too! http://statescare.com/ <--- it shall be fun yoooo.
