When the September 11 attacks occurred, I was in 2nd grade. What surprises me, is that it was so long ago and so tragic, you know like such a big thing, that it made me forget one of the more terrifying things that happened to my class. The day after 9/11, September 12th, 2001, my school received a bomb threat. We were 2nd graders! We had no idea what was going on but we were scared because we were rushed out and all hauled to a nearby small church.
As we all know, today is the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. It was a terrible tragedy and I know all of wish it never happened. I know there's people who think it was a good thing because it caused an amazing band to be created, but no band is worth 3000 people dying. (I'm referring to the fans who were saying awhile ago that they loved Osama BinLaden for doing that.) But like someone said in one of their blogs, it IS a new beginning and we will never forget those people. I have a teacher who's from New York, and he said he knew several people that died that were friends of his family.
Hope you have one of the best birthdays ever!!You're a great person and deserve everything you have! :D
Enjoyed another amazing concert from the guys yesterday in Minnesota. Although it felt like they went off too early, they were still amazing!! What I loved is that they changed the setlist a bit from their last show here in April and actually played "The Kids From Yesterday" and "S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W" those were fun to hear, especially "The Kids From Yesterday." Such a great song. What was even cooler, was that the security there brought out HUGE balloon balls with the widow spider on it, and threw them into the pit in front of the stage so they were bouncing around everywhere in the air.
I posted like 2 or 3 blogs about the Minnesota show tomorrow and nobody's saying anything. Isn't anyone here going? I feel so alone!
So me and my friend are pumped to go to the MCR/Blink concert tomorrow in Minnesota. Who else here is going?!
I really want to make a sign, but I'm afraid it'll block the view for the people behind us and also, I'll be too busy holding the sign to take videos or pictures. ahhhh but I really want to! grrr...
oh well. So who's going?
Yea yea school today, but it's the last year woo!!!
So, just wondering, who won the Minnesota tour blogger contest? Well whoever it was, have fun and make sure you get a good shot of the crowd for me :) haha
Well with the first statement, I only say that, because Gerard said how big of an influence Queen is to My Chemical Romance, and in Queen's song "Death On Two Legs" they use the word 'Killjoy'. I don't know, just thought maybe they could go hand in hand with each other.
I start my senior year of high school tomorrow. Not looking forward to waking up early but I think the classes will be kind of fun. I got into Advanced Art which is the only thing I wanted :)
But, the day after tomorrow, ME AND MY FRIEND ARE GOING TO AN MCR AND BLINK 182 CONCERT!!! WOOO!!! I can't not wait!!! First off, I get
