My reaction to the Kids From Yesterday video

I have to say, one of the most inspiring and amazing videos ever. Watching this just made me think about how discovering this band was the GREATEST thing that ever happened to me. When I was younger, yea, I loved music, but I never felt so strongly about something as I did when I was first getting into My Chemical Romance, learning all the new songs, watching all the videos, basically learning their whole story, and just getting so caught up and fascinated with it, that it's brought such happy moments to my life. Letting me experience my first two ever rock concerts. And although we always argue about who got who into the stuff we like today, I have to thank my friend for putting Welcome to the Black Parade on my ipod that one day I happened to be at her house. I want to say one big Thank You to her. That one song is what made me dig deeper into their history and I'll never forget how it made me feel.

Happy Birthday Bob! :)

I know he's not with the band anymore, but I honestly think they didn't leave on bad terms and that he's a nice guy. So Bob Bryar, Happy freakin' birthday :)

And happy birthday to Anthony Hopkins too :)

1. What was the best thing that happened to you this year?
3 things actually. 1.) Going to my first My Chem concert and first concert ever April 12, at a small venue that made it personal and amazing. 2.) Seeing WheezyWaiter from Youtube play with his band Driftless Pony Club also at a small personal cafe, and getting to meet them and get a picture with the whole band afterwards and 3.) Seeing MCR AND Blink-182 for the first time on the Honda Civic Tour.

2. What was the worst thing that happened to you this year?
Found some sides of my 'best' friend that really disappointed me. It's not fun when you find out someone's talking about you behind your back. Especially when they're supposed to be your friend.

3. What is the biggest accomplishment that you've made this year?
Lots! Got my license, got accepted into my top choice college, got a job, and passed my grad test haha.

4. What is the biggest regret of this year?

This may seem weird but...

I honestly think this is either my favorite album or favorite composer, I don't know what to call it, but I absolutely love it with a passion. All the songs are just so beautiful, but this by far is my favorite song on it. But I do think this is my favorite album of all time! :)

Anyone here even like Dragonheart?

First time listening to Demolition Lover.

I really wasn't a fan of MCR's first album the first time I listened to the songs, because I didn't really like the heaviness of it. But today I finally listened all the way through Demolition Lovers and I have to say while it's not the catchiest song, I really did feel emotion through it. Almost like a sorrowful feeling. But I couldn't quite make out all of the lyrics so I don't know if it's supposed to be a sad story, but I just felt this sadness from it, and that made me actually like it. Like I paid attention to all the details in it. I don't know why I posted this. Just wanted to post my review of the song. :)

Do you remember when you first discovered MCR? (repost)

I was recently watching the footage from my very first MCR concert from this year, posted by an amazing fan we met there, and it just brought back memories. Obviously I haven't been a fan very long considering I've only just had my first MCR concert (went to first one in April and 2nd one in Sept.) I've been a fan for 2 years, and I don't know. It's just amazing if you think back to when you first became a fan. The song that really brought back memories was "I'm not Okay". The first song I heard from MCR that made me look up more was Welcome to the Black Parade, and then I discovered Helena, or more like remembered Helena from when I had been really little and had seen it on MTV. But with I'm Not Okay, I remember trying to find the exact video, but every one on Youtube had copyright issues, or didn't sync up right, and when I finally found the correct video and listened to it for the first time, i was just amazed. I laughed SO hard during the video.
