Happy Birthday!!

I want to wish a very happy birthday to my idol/hero Gerard Way who turns 36 today. Man he's almost 40!! haha Hard to believe that since he still looks like he's 20 something. haha

Anyways HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

This is one of my favorite pictures! :)

Repost from eyy.mcr.love. Please pass on!

*PLEASE REPOST THIS OKAY*

As you all know, hopefully, Gerard has opened a P.O. Box for all of us fans to send in letter. Yes he will read every letter he recieves, but there is no assurance that he'll reply. He has three simple rules for this P.O. Box; 1) he can't, and will not, pass anything along to anyone. 2) don't make it weird. 3) no packages. Okay you guys, we're given the oppurtunity to have this sort of communication with Gerard (and maybe even the band). What I ask from you guys is to not send in any fanfiction about Frerard or any other sort of fiction, please for all of us.

Is it bad if my acceptance was rather...quick?

I mean, I cried on the 22nd when I found out, but it was for less than 5 minutes. But that small outburst of sobbing made me feel better afterwards. Then the next day, I shed a few more tears due to watching "The Kids From Yesterday" music video and watching all the happy memories and the happiness on all the faces of the fans and the band members.

The following days I felt a little saddened with the thought in the back of my head, but then came the day of Gerard's letter. I have to say that was just what I needed to finalize the acceptance.

There is a crowd in here, that fooled themselves;
they brought their friends, and they made their Hell.
They fake their grin, in a lonely cell.
To the bitter end,
But what do I know?

There are a few in here, that hurt themselves;
They kick, and bend in a dried-up well.
They call for help, and you know them well.
Are you aware?
But what do I know?

I, I will not surrender
No I, I will not surrender
No I, I will not surrender
No I, I will not surrender

When God falls fast asleep
The kids still dance in city streets
From the white house lawn to the middle east
And all around I'm

I'm just curious... (relates to Bob)

I know Bob Bryar was a big reason we have the songs from Three Cheers...but ever since he left, haven't people noticed that well...he's kinda mean towards MCR now.

I mean with the Mikey scandal he had posted something along the lines of "Cheater cheater..."

and then today he posted pictures of the drum sets he had with MCR and captioned the picture with "So is all this junk worth more or less now?"

I don't know, I find it strange that he's kind of rude towards them now. Even after he left there were rumors right away about him saying they were all drama queens or something.

Thanks for the good times MCR. It was fun.

I'm so thankful for everything that you guys have done in the short time span of 12 years.

I'm glad you guys were my first concert. And it was a concert so epic, and so intimate, that I will never forget it. I still remember it like it was yesterday and it was in fact 2 years ago at First Avenue in Minnesota. I'm glad I had the chance to see you guys a second time with Blink 182. That was also an amazing show, but still didn't top the experience of the first concert.

I'm glad you guys were so inspirational and always had the most meaningful advice to give.

First, I go to the cafeteria and eat two fortune cookies, one says something along the lines of "A good message will be on its way" and the second one "An announcement will set you free."

Now just yesterday I had posted a blog explaining how MCR was moving down from number one on my favorite bands list and I was trying to decide between them and another band.

Later we went to the mall where we got ice-cream, I got a hot fudge sundae, and guess what? I spilled half the fudge all over my MCR Danger Days bag. I spent at least a half hour hand washing it.

We also went into Hot Topic and I was

Why does dropping MCR as #1 feel so wrong?

So I fear MCR has lost their spot as my number one favorite band. Don't get me wrong, they're still in my top ten favorite bands, but I've come to realize that I don't listen to them that much anymore. I find myself focusing on music from other bands. One band in particular has become very central in my life. The songs, the lyrics, the emotion. They're pure joy to sing along to. I'm not going to mention who has replaced MCR, because I know many on here would disagree that they could ever top MCR but it's just how I feel.
