"Yeah, I drink juice when I'm killing, 'cause it's fucking delicious!"

You know, it took me a long time to listen to the EP. But, I had sometime on my hands this afternoon (rare) and said "I'm ACTUALLY going to listen to this".

It's really amazing! Really punky and fun. I really wish they would have put those songs on the CD. But I can see why not, because it's different from their newer sound.

I hope all others of you got the time to listen to it before I did! It's great =D

Bands that influenced MCR on this album?

Like many of you have probably noticed, some of the songs on the new MCR album sound very influenced by other bands. So I'm just going to mention a few bands I hear and you guys can add on =)

The Smashing Pumpkins
The Misfits
Head Automatica
The Dresden Dolls (just the lyrics of 'Sing')
The Red Hot Chili Peppers
The Ramones (MAYBE)
Foo Fighters (also a MAYBE)
Billy Talent (a huge MAYBE)

And a few others that slip my mind at the moment.

What do you guys think?

I've contaminated my sister!

She's 13, very heavily in to R&B and Rap. But I let her listen to "Na Na Na" and for the past few days I've been staying at my parents house, she's been running around the house going "NA NANANA NANANA NANANANANA!!" Horribly out of tune, but she's still doing it!

If only you guys TRULY knew how big of a deal this is! The only other MCR song she likes is "You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison" because of the giggle that Frank does at the end of the song.

"Complain about EVERYTHING" day.

That's right! Today is my "complain about everything" day!

I have hours upon hours of homework to do that I'm confused about, my allergies are kicking my ass, I have school tomorrow, I probably won't get to see my family until Christmas eve, I have to learn and memorize a completely new song on piano before Thursday, my choir has a trillion Christmas concerts to perform in the next two weeks, almost all my bills are late, I have a collection agency after me because of medical bills, I've gained like 10 lbs staying here with my mom (...stupid fucking delicious food), and despite the hours I've

What do you think of the MUSIC?

I know a lot of you are getting pumped by talking in "Killjoy" language and talking about what you're doing to celebrate this day. And that is fan-fucking-tastic.

However, lets not overshoot what we're celebrating: THE MUSIC!

Some of you obviously haven't yet listened to the album, but for those of you who have, what do you think of it? What are your feelings towards various songs? How do you think this album is in comparison to their old albums? Do you feel influence from any other bands in their music?

It's as much about the music as it is about the story!

Gimme OPINIONS! I wanna know!

Just got done listening to the new album...

Not quite as impressed as I thought I'd be...

Definitely a ton of Smashing Pumpkins feel. Like on S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W. And hugely on Summertime. So I love those song, hands down.

Bulletproof Heart and Vampire Money both have a ridiculous Misfits feel. Oh my gosh. Crazy!

As for the other songs, such as Party Poison and Destroya, almost feel like surface songs. Like "filler" songs.

I just need a few more listen throughs to really get it.

Overall, S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W and Bulletproof Heart really make the CD amazing.

Anyways, like I said, I need a little bit more time.

Goodnight everyone =)

iTunes store MAY be updating at this moment.

It won't let me connect. So I'm thinking it's updating right now!

So excited for new album!! And Thanksgiving...

Album is going to be fucking AWESOME!

I did not listen to Dr. Death Defying's listening party because 1. No time and 2. I just felt it was too close to break the seal, just yet. If it was a month ago, oh, hell yeah I would have. But yeah, it was just too close for me.

But since it comes out tomorrow, I am waking up early, and listening to it on iTunes.

My special edition better get here quick...

I'm also excited about Thanksgiving! Not because I'm necessarily a super pig (which don't get me wrong, the food's great...and I am kinda a super pig =p) but because I get to see my family!

Let's talk about concert etiquette...

As some of you may have read my blog last night, I went to a Bayside/Senses Fail concert.

The crowd during Bayside was amazing and had awesome concert etiquette. They were there for the band and to sing the lyrics. Sure, there was some pushing and swaying, but that was really it. Nothing violent.

The Senses Fail crowd...that's a different fucking story. There were people throwing punches, kicking, moshing (wall of death moshing to be specific), and one of the worst things ever, crowd surfing.

Fucking great concert!

Well, that is until Senses Fail's set when all the fucking 15 year old fans decided that the best concert etiquette is to throw someone up in the air so that they can kick everyone up at the front in the head.

I never want to see a Senses Fail concert again because of how awful the crowd was.

The two songs that I was really excited for were amazing, but other than that, the crowd was rude, the guitars were about a half step flat and the the singer was about a half step sharp. Which means they were about a whole step a part. That's HORRIBLE.

Don't get me wrong though,
