How long has this ominous new theme been here? It's making my imagination go completely crazy with possible thoughts as to how the aesthetics of the new album will be.

Anyway, what's changed here in the last few months? Any news? How is everybody.

Mothers' day was in March right? Or am I just a complete bitch of a daughter right now?

I know, it's Voltaire, not MyChem, I just felt like sharing. It's been a long time since I've allowed myself be anything but numb to music and I think this song just broke the floodgate. Please listen to it if you are being bullied for being 'different' when all you know is that you're being yourself. Please listen to it and take in the fact that it's not your fault, because it isn't; you are fucking perfection and nothing should change that.

Okay, so my cousin is in Afghan at the moment, and we're going to send him a package for Easter. He likes rock music (but nothing too heavy) and so I thought it would be nice to compile some peace songs to send to him and let him know that we are thinking of him. I don't mean anything too graphic, like Rise Against- Hero of War because I don't want to upset him but I know he is anti war and wouldn't be offended by the sentiment. The question is, can anyone suggest anything for me to put on this CD? I already have a few ideas, but would greatly appreciate the input as I'm struggling to search out 10 songs that fit the bill. Thank you in advance :)

No, I am aware that this makes no sense anywhere but in my own head. I just feel like expressing my extreme distaste for clumsy art. Basically, people not doing it for the right reasons. When people use their ability to create purely to hurt others or to get popular, they disown the sanctity and beauty of creativity.

For example, when people write a song in order to sell something and make money. Why? What good is that doing to anyone? It's just for personal gain. It won't make anything better for anybody, so why do it?

And when someone draws a single line on a blank canvas and creates all this hype around it. So that people who paint beautiful things with genuine talent are looked down for not doing the 'right' king of art.

In that limbo between Christmas and new year. What's everyone up to?

So, I thought I might actually post on here for the first time since sliced bread. Been up to a lot of shit, mainly school, unfortunately for my fragile brain. So, I kind of feel creative, but have no idea what to draw... last night I created a superhero who was masquerading as a priest but really was rejected from his alien overlords. It was sad, he just wanted to be human. Anyway, I have some time to draw and shit tomorrow, cause people are on strike, therefore the pig pen has been closed to students for tomorrow. Any ideas what to draw? I will try anything... honest :) xx
