I just heard that Paul McCarthy will be playing with Dave & Krist from Nirvana at a show tonight? (They never mentioned Ringo?) Please tell me it's true! And what show is it? I was having such a shit day and when I hear that it just made it so much better! I love both The Beatles and Nirvana (which you've probably guessed by now) so having them play together is just amazing. Nothing tops great bands playing with other great bands, especially since they were both the biggest bands in the world at one point or another. But it's such a shame that Kurt isn't alive to see it, he loved The Beatles. And of course John Lennon & George Harrison, man all the great musicians die way too young. But they'll be there in spirit. I don't know about you guys but this is probably one of the greatest things to ever happen in rock.

So today in Irish class I was bored out of my mind when BAM an idea for a new story hit me! And it's awesome. I love when I just randomly get inspired to write something, especially since I've spent the past few weeks racking my brain for ideas, but I just wish it didn't have to be in school when it happens so I can actually write it down. But yeah I really like this idea so I've a feeling that I may start a new fan-fic soon.

Awhile back I posted a blog about this kid that got beat up and I tried to help him. So since then I've just sorta been watching him, you know just being polite whenever I see him and watching to make sure the other kids don't do anything to him and I barley know this kid but he done something that really shocked me today.

So basically I've been trying to learn bass since last summer, I've been playing guitar for 5 years so it wasn't hard to pick it up. But when it comes to guitar and you're trying to figure a song out you generally listen to the song and try to copy whatever the guitarist is doing. With bass it's not that easy; guitars are generally the most prominent in songs, next to the vocals and drums. Obviously bass is important, it stops the guitars making the song sound too pitchy and keeps the beat like the drums do but it's a lot harder to notice unless you listen very carefully. And I really do like playing bass but there's certain songs where the bass line is harder than others and even harder when you listen to the song and try to hear those parts clearly so you can try to play them. You know some songs are ridiculously easy and some you're just like "Damn! I didn't know their bassist was that good! How can I play that!?".

Okay I hate blogs like this but I fucking need to rant.

So this time tomorrow I'll be in Newark Airport (and then have a long bus ride to Philadelphia) but since I'll be in NJ for a little bit I'm gonna wear all my MCR merch! So I'm writing this to let you guys know that I wont to be on for a while. I'll be in Baltimore something in the next two weeks to so I'll be wearing my ATL t-shirt. I don't know why I do this, it just seems fitting to wear bands t-shirts in their home towns. See you guys in two weeks!

At the start of the year my English teacher asked us who read at least one book over the summer (I read 7) and me and about two other people did, today she asked if anyone was reading anything at the moment and again the same 3 people. Seriously in a class of 30 people doing Higher Level English only 3 people read. I read and write (my own stories) on almost a daily basis, I don't really know what else to do with myself apart from music. Okay I realise that I probably sound like the lamest teenager ever but what the hell do people who don't read do? So call me a nerd but I've always loved reading and actually like doing English homework (all other work sucks though). There's only so much of the internet and TV you're brain can take so what else could you possibly do? Don't you just love getting lost in a book, like you literally cannot put it down because you have to see what happens next and you don't even realise how much time has gone by.

Okay so before I start I'm sorry that I can never write this on a daily basis, I'm just really busy at the moment. But no need to fear cause this is the last part! Enjoy! :)

Guy's I'm so happy right now! So I've probably blogged about forming a band a million times now but I've actually made some progress. So I've come across few guitarists and one bassist over the past few months but none of them were interested in forming a band so I decided to put up a notice in the music shop since asking around wasn't doing much good, this morning when I got an email from a girl who actually wants to do it! She's been playing guitar for a few years now which is great! I know this isn't even a proper band because it's just to two of us right now and I havent even met the girl yet but most of the teenagers here think you're a freak if you have a hobbie that doesn't involve drinking, like last time I was in a band they gave me so much shit for it so I can't believe that someone else my age here actually wants to play music and likes rock! I'm just so shocked right now.

It's been awhile since I've wrote this and I'm so sorry for taking so long!

"Don't think like that" I said, "after everything that's going on right now we can't afford to be negative". Although I had to admit I was terrified. We started looking around the house for stuff to kill the zombies with, in movies they usually killed them by damaging their brain or removing the head and we figured that the same applied to real life. Although all we managed to find was a few kitchen knives and a shovel. Frank looked out the window again, "there seems to be less out there now" he noted, "Yeah it seems like there's always less during the daytime" Ray added. "Well then I guess it's no or never" I said, and despite the fact that we were all trying to hide our fear we knew it was what had to be done. I took a deep breath, expecting to be swarmed by zombies the second I opened the door but for whatever reason the actually backed away from us.
