When I woke up I found faces floating all around me, hurrying around trying to rouse me, trying to heal me, trying to help me. My eyes fluttered a lot and I groaned, I had never felt so horrible in my entire life. As soon as each person registered that the groan had come from me everyones eyes settled on me.
“What happened back there!? I was struggling with the Reapers and then next thing I knew you were there and Aagneya followed you in and then all hell broke loose! What happened!?” Waterfall Bomb was practically screaming at me.
I groaned again and then I saw Dawn had brought Astrid here and she hushed Bomb.
“It was the power of The Chosen One, but not any ordinary power, no, this was a very special power, this was power coming right from her heart, power that came from wanting to protect the ones she loved.” Astrid smiled at me and I tried to smile back but failed. Though it was true I still couldn’t believe it.

A dream seemed to consume me. But it wasn’t so much a dream as what had just happened. I saw me, crumbled on the floor, in a ball. Then my eyes seemed to glaze over and I watched as I saw my very soul leave my body. I was essentially dead right then, how I had been seeing everything then was through my own soul, without a body holding it. It was something I had never done before and I didn’t even know I could do that. I had actually left my body in order to save The Black Parade. From there I had gone and surrounded the people I actually cared about in a mass shield that would protect them from everything I did. I had to wonder what all that shield could protect them from and would it carry on if I died? What even was it protecting them from? Alls I could tell was that it was definitely a protective shield.

The back door slammed open before I reached it and Aagneya stood looking at me smiling and he ran up to kiss me. When he pulled back he saw our little army and looked at me with concern. Behind him I saw the Reapers making their way to our mansion. “What’s going on? Are you ok?” He pulled me behind him as if to protect me from my friends, unaware that they were with me and I whispered in his ear. “This is our Black Parade.”
With that I wrapped my arm around his throat as to choke him but with him being so tall I didn’t get a good enough grip and he spun around to face me, anger written on his face. “You betrayed me.” He growled
“I did a lot more than betray you.” I spoke with a smirk, snapping my fingers and my entire body flew into flames, using his own power against him.

We stood at the edge of the forest, looking at the mansion, Aagneya hushing the Reapers so they would stay quiet.
“Now then.” Aagneya said, dragging me back to reality, I couldn’t think straight. “You’re going to go in again,” He motioned toward the darkened mansion, they must have been asleep, or laying low knowing all hell was about to break loose. “but this time you’re going to work your powers and destroy the purple force field. If we kill the place of their almighty chosen one they won’t have any hope left,” He glanced at me, making sure I was paying attention. “and if they don’t have any hope left they won’t bother resisting, giving us total control.”

I hit the ground finally and tumbled and rolled, jumping to my feet quickly and running. I didn’t have a destination but I had to think, alone. I ran through the forest, getting deeper until I thought no one would find me. There I finally slowed and slouched against a tree, breathing deeply.
I looked around me, it was peaceful out here, the perfect place to think. Immediately a million thoughts ran through my mind. What was with this black raven that only I could see but it could actually do damage to me that Aagneya could see? What was I going to do as a ruler of the Reapers? How was I going to tell my friends that I was in a relationship with the ruler of evil here in The Black Parade? How was I saving The Black Parade by joining the dark side?
I sighed, I needed to calm down. I sat cross legged on the forest floor, slowing my heart rate and controlling my breathing. Almost immediately I became calm as I started levitating off the ground, floating up towards the sky.

“Come on.” Aagneya said as he stood up on the rickety tree branch. I stood up next to him, not knowing exactly how we would be descending now, perhaps we would float down, that could be fun, but maybe there was another amusing way to go back down?
I didn’t get time to think about what other amazing ways we could descend because as soon as I stood up Aagneya grabbed my hand and jumped off the tree branch, pulling me down with him. I tried to reach out and grab at the tree branch to stop our decent, maybe he hadn’t jumped off, perhaps he had lost his footing. My hand slammed against the branch and pain flared up my arm.

We soon found ourselves alone in the theatre, the Reapers gone to do whatever it is they do, I didn’t want to think about what they did in their spare time.
I found myself staring into the flames that surrounded me, I had quickly pulled away from Aagneya to further my fire, turning it a bright blue and circling it around us. We stood amid the circle of blue flames, their heat causing sweat to drip down my back, making the dress cling to me more, the fire licking at the ends in an attempt to light me on fire and suffocate me. We were forced closer together by the surrounding flames as they danced around us. A part of me wishing they would consume me, end this nightmare before it really began.

Aagneya took me outside and we started walking through the forest. We kicked at stones and watched animals scurry past as we got deeper into the forest. We laughed as leaves rained down on us after a squirrel fell through a tree.
After a period of time had passed, I don’t know how long, I had gotten lost in this world, we emerged from the forest. I was surprised to find we were at the back of the mansion, my mansion. I stared at it, unsure of what to do.
“Do you know what this place is?” Aagneya said from behind me.
I searched my brain for the right answer. “I don’t know.”

Finally I looked at Aagneya, my mind made up, the decision made, I just had to accept.
Aagneya raised his eyebrows at me in question, wondering what my response would be. I nodded, it was a slight gesture, barely noticeable, but it changed the fate of so many people. Aagneya’s own face twisted into a smile, it was a evil smile, if I didn’t know that it was regarded towards others and not me, it would’ve scared the living shit out of me and I would’ve had nightmares for weeks. But either way that was a face I would see every time I blinked, and it would haunt me until the end, the second end.
I allowed myself to smile back, a quick little smirk, nothing too much, I wasn’t what he thought I was and I wouldn’t allow myself to become what he wanted of me, I just had to remain on top of the situation, keep control, if I lost it, we lost The Black Parade.

Finally I looked at Aagneya, my mind made up, the decision made, I just had to accept.
