walking through honey, clear as water

on December 19, 2016 - 3:07pm

it's been what feels like an actual year and a half. or not. time has felt like walking through molasses in the most unfamiliar way. like the waves are just passing over my head while i drift comfortably underwater. this comfort is a bed of supposed achievements. i feel like i'm doing impressive things by societal standards. but that doesn't mean very much in the evening. i know that i have been able to navigate and negotiate my way around most people's problems in career and finances and i am so so lucky and even talented in that way. but i don't think it gets much of anywhere in the end.

on December 19, 2016 - 8:16am

Well, a lot has happened given that life exists with or without time...
I have stopped watching the Hours. I am very please to say that. The sickie is doin jast superb and has even learned the healing arts a while agogo and is showing me what he can do. The big boy is the same. As always. Unknowable. Always changing, always the same. ,}? The twin is horny as usual. He was the first to heal. The little ones are all wonderful...

on December 18, 2016 - 8:54pm

I have put off writing this post for so long for no apparent reason but this book is so amazing that you all deserve to know of it.

Basically, this is a very extensive and detailed (not authorised, but the members did give their blessings and assistance) biography of My Chemical Romance by Tom Bryant. The thing with this guy Tom is that he's a music journalist that first met MCR in 2004 and continued to interview and keep track of them for the entirety of the band's existence, and then some.

Birthday celebrations

on December 18, 2016 - 2:42pm

It's my birthday this Wednesday so my parents took me into the city today to celebrate. They let me have all my presents and we had lunch in this restaurant that I really like. Then we went to my favourite music store and they bought me Revenge on vinyl. I've been wanting to buy a record player for a while now so my parents said that they'd buy me my first real record, and I can get a record player for my Christmas present. I have every mcr cd already and Revenge was actually the first cd I ever bought too.
So we spent all day walking around Dublin City centre, which is my favourite place to

Eek! Feeling all sentimental! ((again?!) but anniversary!!!

on December 17, 2016 - 10:52am

It's my one year anniversary!!! Well, it is in about a week (oh, somehow I thought it was closer) At any rate, I suppose we will all get busy with holiday stuff and or other stuff, so I am making my post today.

but first, I have to say thanks to the comment on my last post (you know who you are) gah! That was soo nice! Like, I definitely don't hear stuff like that every day, so it is much appreciated.

Ok, now then, I also want to shoutout to those who commented on my first post.
