Self-Inflicted Diet

So I've been trying to eat more healthfully.
It's hard. Really hard.
The problem is twofold: I've always had this bad appetite, and the urge to eat nearly all day. So trying to reduce my food consumption is difficult.
The second problem is my sweet tooth. It has a particular fondness for chocolate (all except dark chocolate... eww). So bringing down my sugar intake is going to be hell.
It hasn't been too difficult this week, though. My mom bought me some mochi yesterday: I have dubbed it my "low guilt dessert" because it's sweet, but it's also low in fat and calories and all that other unhealthy stuff. I also managed to cut down my meal consumption, but snacks are still fair game (again, thank goodness for the mochi! ^_^) I think I can survive this self inflicted diet, so long as I always keep the right tools around.
