Day 5 Favorite song from Parade
4 years ago, i got my first My Chemical Romance cd, The Black Parade.
I grew up with a couple songs, and every now and then, i'd lay awake at night listening to their music on Youtube for hours.
I remember the Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge album cover while listening to their songs,
getting all giggly and physced up on the super cool-weird titles, and having my heart race and pound along with the amazing guitar solos
and excitement of Gerard's beautiful voice.
But being so young, i had no idea where to get said albums.
So when i saw The Black Parade (Clean version :c) at Wal-mart, of course i bought it!
I'd listen to it, over and over and over and over and over..
Every chance i'd get.
And though Welcome To The Black Parade sent chills down my spine and sent me to black and white vertigo.
And Cancer and Famous Last Words would make me huddle in a ball and cry.
And Mama would just be this insane, intense load of "the fuck?!?"
And Teenagers made me wanna throw a f@!*ing fit.
I gotta say,
The Sharpest Lives would just..send me to another planet.
And that love and compelling emotion for that song still haunts me today.
