OUCH!!! THAT HURTS!!!

Ok Killjoys.
So if your reading this, your probably wondering 'Wtf?'
Well today I started to play guitar for the first time and the finger tips on my left hand are soo sore! I almost cut them on the strings!!!
So I put bandages on them...

Any killjoy out there that plays guitar?? If you do can you please give me some tips on playing and technique? I would love to actually play a full song one day. Preferably a MyChem song.
