"Go to sleep. I`ll wake you when we`re leaving." he said to me, as he moved around the room, packing, and sorting and whatnot. "Okay. But what about-'' he cut me off. "Nothing. I`ll take care of it. Don`t worry. Just sleep."he said. He`d put me in his bed, so I wouldn`t have to face the guys alone. And to keep me safe. I moved onto my side, and put my arms out to put them around the pillow, when I found a little miniature box. I`d pulled my head under the covers and opened it. Inside was a sparkling ring that`d looked beautiful. I put it back in the box and then pulled my head back up to the surface. "Mikey, what is this?" I asked, showing him the ring. "Oh! Shit! Did I forget to put that in my pocket? Ah hell! Uh, sorry, but you weren`t supposed to see that. I was going to give it to you when we got to the new house, or whatever building we decide to move into. It was my mother`s. Korse had killed her years ago, and I decided to keep it. As a memory. I never thought I`d find somebody like you, to give it to." he explained. "Oh, Mikey, it`s beautiful! I can never thank you enough." I said. "Yes, you can." he said mockingly. "How?" I asked. "Kiss me." he replied.
"Mikey, I`ll do that a thousand times before you can even tell me to." I`d finished.
"Okay, then. You can repay me now." he said, looking into my eyes. Oh, how they`d made me melt.
I leaned in and kissed him hard, and he kissed back with the same amount of passion.
Then, there was a very unexpected knock on the door."Uh, can I come in?" Gerard asked.
"No, we`re busy." Mikey said, and then kissed me again.
"Well, I just wanted to let you guys know that we want to know where you`re going. We know you`re leaving. Little mice have ears. And sometimes they even talk." he said in a smart-ass tone and then walked away.
"Mikey, shouldn`t we go ask him where he heard that information?" I asked.
No, Maria. You`re staying here, and so am I." he replied.
Our kiss went on for hours. And that night, it might`ve gone a little too far...................
