Okay so this isn't really MCR related, but I'm just wondering if anyone has the same issue I do.
It's called selective mutism.
If you don't know what it is, it's a severe anxiety disorder where you can't speak in certain social situations. For example, if I'm at school I probably won't talk the entire day. Maybe to one person. But I can't speak, and that's the problem.
I've done tons of research on this and I'm sure I have it. I have nearly all of the symptoms of it. Like I freeze up and can't talk, I'm extremely shy, I'm introverted, and I'm really depressed. My parents say its normal and don't believe me when I tell them I have issues, and they say I'll grow out of it. I've been this way for my entire life. Most people who are shown to have this are around 3-5 years old, and I'm a teenager with this. I think I would of grown out of it by now.
Anyways, if you want more information and stuff like that on it just search it in google.
So do any of you have this, or know about it?
