Ten years ago I was nine. I had gotten my first braces. My to-be-uncle turned fourty-two that day. My aunt and uncle got engaged. Two planes crashed into World Trade Center. Ten years ago the world changed.
I had gotten home from school that day, ten years ago, and everything was as usuall, but when I got home mum was staring at the TV, she was crying and didn't even tried to hide it. She tried to explain, and we stared at the TV. I didn't understand the meaning of the event. But I understood that something really bad and horrible had happened. And I was scared.
Mum was scared that a third world war was appraoching, that's why she was crying. She told me when I got older. Luckily she was wrong!
They say that every bad thing brings you something good, and in this case it is true. We got My Chemical Romance. <3
2003 (it was the 10 of september) I was eleven, my teacher rushes into the classroom and turns on the radio (we just had a radio back then in school, no computers), Anna Lindh, the Minister for Foreign Affairs was stabbed with a knife. Everyone was scared and crying. But we couldn't do anything but to listen.
Anna died on the morning the 11th of September. Nothing good came out of that...
These two tragic events will I allways connect to this date... I hope there will be happier things in the future that I can remember when I think of the 11th of September... But for now... I hope that all the victims from this day are resting in peace <3
