Well, I'm a new Killjoy, and I'm so fucking proud that I can call myself that :'D My friend Ink Demolition told me about MCR and told me to look up "Teenagers." When I first heard the song it was amazing as to how true it was. It basically summed up every thought I have on teenagers.
So I began listening to more songs, and I have to tell you, I've fallen in love with this band. Every time I listen to their music it makes me feel so happy, and it gets the adreniline going. I've learned so much about them, and just fallen in love with the band. I absolutely love how MCR is trying to send out a message to people of all ages, that it's okay to be messed up, and it's okay to be different. Before I listened to this band, I was so insecure of myself, and wished that I could be a prettier, skinnier, girl, all because of being bullied. When I gradually became a fan of MCR, I soon realized I'm fine the way I am, and it's alright to be your own person.
To sum things up, I'm a Killjoy, and it's the most comforting thing to know that I have other Killjoys who are just like me(: I look to My Chemical Romance like a religion, because they're something I believe in.<3
