I haven't written a blog in forever, but that's because my old computer just died. Literally, the screen went white and you couldn't see a thing. T_T But now I have a new one ^_^ It's so cool, it's really diddy and silver! :D So a note to maybe the 3 people that were maybe reading my fanfic whatsidoodle, the Fanfic can now continue! Yaaay :P
In other news, the last 4 days have been tiring, scary, exhilarating, funny, sweet and sad all in one. O.o
On Friday I went to a gig with this guy called Ray, (Ironic that we actually met at a gig about 4 months ago and are now like this *Crosses fingers*) But yeah, that was so cool, it was nothing big just a Battle Of The Bands thing :') It was great though, the music was so cool, it was all quite a bit heavier than MCR (Like, it was mainly screamo rock, hell yeah! XD) But I had a great time and so did he. :D At one point there was a massive Wall Of Death, and I didn't want to go in it, mainly cos I like my nose where it is and don't want it broken! But I accidentally got caught up in there and pretty much found myself swept along with about 200 others, and then when everyone hit everyone else on the other side I tripped over something and got totally trampled. That really hurt cos I had people stepping on my ribs and face etc...Owee >.< But then I felt someone's hand pull me up and out, and I looked up and it was Ray! :D So I shouted "Thank youuuu!!!" Over the music and gave him a giant hug. XD That night he stayed over mine (I have a raised bed with a pull out bed underneath, and he slept on the pull out bed. The next day we met some of our friends in town, only Ray and I were an hour and a half late because we overslept! Oops D: So we got there and were given "Free Hugs!" Signs, and we basically walked around town all day giving strangers free hugs, when asked why we were doing this (And we were asked several times!) we replied with:
"So many people walking around look sad, or gloomy or emotionless. So we offer them free hugs to brighten their day, that and it's International Free Hugs Day"
I was nicknamed "The Hug Monster" 'cause according to my friends I gave the most hugs. Yay! :') We carried on walking through the town and we went into the shopping centre (Or mall, for American readers! :D) And there were a group of chavs in there who saw us and shouted out things like "Prostitutes!" "Faggots!" "Homo's" Etc...But we ignored them :D We went all around the shopping centre and I hugged an old lady who afterwards said "This is such a lovely idea, that's made my day you know! Wow, a hug from a goth girl..." Haha, that made me smile :') And all my friends started (Jokingly) saying things like "Yeah Izzie, you're such a goth, geeze!" XD So we carried on going round, hugging people who wanted hugs, and we all hugged this lady, who afterwards got out her diary and started reading a poem about hugs! Apparently all her friends call her Hugging Abbie, it was sweet but really random! O.o
So we finished hugging people for a bit (It was like 4pm and we'd been hugging since about 12! XD) And Lizzie and Aimee told me, Ray, Damien and Ryan that they knew about this secret place we could go and not be interrupted. It sounded cool so we followed them, but they hadn't told us we were going to the roof of the shopping centre...A good 70ft off the ground. Not great, if, like myself, you're scared of heights. So we got to the top level of the car park and from there climbed over a relatively high wall, and had about 1ft of space (About half a meter?) edging along the wall to the side of the building with a small wall on the edge that I doubt would've done shit if we'd slipped, and we had to go about 3 meters till we got to the roof, the actual wall we were edging along was hidden by the car park, directly in front of us so there was a small chance of being seen. We all made it to the roof safely, and everyone else walked/ran up to the edge, but I hate heights with a passion so I shuffled up, looked over, immediately got a stomach ache (Because I'm a chicken!) And backed away and sat down so I didn't have to see how high we were. :P (There was a 3ft wall around the edge) So for a bit Ray came and sat next me *Happy face* xD And then he said:
"Hey guys, who wants to take a photo of me planking off the edge of this? :D"
(Planking is where you lie face down with your arms tight next to you for a certain amount of time, in ridiculous places - I think it's stupid, especially that high up - but it's up to you guys if you like it :L)
So anyways, everyone cheered him on, saying it was an amazing idea, he was brave, and could they have his snake if he died, etc. And I kinda sat there almost pulling my hair out as I watched one of my best friends lie down on the narrow wall separating the roof and death, stick his head right out, and lie there until someone had taken a photo of it. Thank God he got off safe, but he scared the f*cking life outta me! D: So we stayed there for a bit but I think Ray could tell I hated heights (Probably because I was biting my lip uber hard, and picking away at the tarmac-stuff like my life depended on it.) So then he said:
"Hey guys, just remembered, I'm scared shitless of heights, and Izzie looks hungry. How about I take her down town and we meet you guys later?"
And Ryan replied:
"Haha, fuck off! You just lay yourself right on the edge of that thing! No way are you scared of heights!" So Ray was like
"Well, we're gonna go back into town, catch you guys later!" And we got off the roof, left the car park and headed into town, we stopped at a shop and Ray got a Dr. Pepper and I got Kerrang! And then we headed to the park, lay down under our tree (It's not really OUR tree, just the one we lie under every time we're at the park) And he put his arm under me so I could cuddle him :) Hehe, I thanked him for making up the excuse about the roof and he was like "No problem, I could tell you were upset so I didn't want to be there if you didn't." So for about half an hour we lay there just talking, when I looked up and saw Lizzie coming towards us, and I honestly didn't mean to, but I felt kinda pissed off. I was happy when it was just Ray and I, I didn't show this though, I hugged her and the 3 of us started talking, gradually we were joined by more and more people so our peace was shattered haha.
So at the end of the day we all went our separate ways, but Ray came back to mine for a second night (Yay! ^-^) And at 3am we found ourselves in the kitchen, sitting on the floor eating chicken sandwiches and talking about anything and everything. :D
The day after we had to get up early cos Lizzie was having a horror movie marathon at her house, so Ray and I got there, along with about 6 others, and we watched Paranormal Activity 1 & 2, The Exorcist, Poltergeist (I found that one boring, haha) Amnityville, Dawn Of The Dead (Gross!!! >.<) and The Tortured. (That film was so gory that Ray let me cuddle him, hehe) So after that we stayed over Lizzie's house for the night, but there wasn't enough room in her bedroom for us to stay, so her mum said "The camp bed's in the living room" We assumed she meant two single beds, so when we got down there and saw a double bed with a double sleeping bag, you could say we were surprised. (May I point out, nothing dirty/sexual was done, unless you count having a cuddle as sexual/dirty haha. So we climbed in, and Ray fell asleep quickly, I however, did not. I already knew Ray snored but for the past two nights he'd been on the bed below me, not directly next to me, lol, so that kept me up till about 4am! ._. Then I got woken up at 6am, when I opened one eye to see Alex, Aimee and Jenny making "Aww-ing" Sounds, and staring at Ray and I hugging each other under the sleeping bag, so I turned over and said: "Thanks guys, not like we were in the middle of, I dunno...Sleeping?" And Alex cracked a dirty joke and Jenny said "You two were so adorable though!" In a high pitched voice, at which point Ray woke up, saw our audience and said "What the fuck?" I swear I've never laughed harder, and it wasn't even that funny! :')
So at 8am Ray had to leave to go to College :( (I'm on study leave, not school FTW) And I'm not seeing him this weekend because I have other friends over, so I'll miss him haha. But yeah, it was an amazing weekend xD
Sorry about the annoying length of this, my computer's been broken for ages now, so there's a lot to write about xD And to the people that read my fanfic, I'm definitely putting more up either tonight or tomorrow :D Sorry about the amount it's been neglected recently XD
