something I wrote..not sure if I posted this before but oh well.

It's eating away at my inside.
Like looking through a frost covered window on a cold winter night.
This monster lurks inside my head.
It swallowed all the joy & life
Leaving me for dead.
The whole world is now a void.
That I cannot escape.
Everything looks so paper thin.
Is this just a dream?

Doesn't matter where I go
There's no escape.
Everyone I know, everyplace I go,
Everything is fake.
I forgot my emotions,
Numb is all I know.
Whatever is keeping me here,
Is not letting me go.
