gerard on my exams

in my english exams of grammar there was a sentence that said something of bob and another that said something about some fans and on the next page it was a little story we had to read and the main character was named GERARD and it said that he got married and had a kid and.. it was a beautiful story I just feel as if my heart would stop beating wen I read the name Gerard.
