My Inspiration

I know we've all seen this video being posted on here hundreds of times tonight already. I do not mind that most of you will just scroll past this.

I have not been a fan of My Chemical Romance for very long, only about a year and a half now. In that year and a half though I've changed a lot, but not in a bad way. It was the start of my freshmen year of high school. I'd just truly discovered music. Four days into that school year I was in a car crash. Fortunately I wasn't injured and neither were any of the others involved. Music helped get through that. This past August I've had two family friends get into horrible car crashes that put them both into comas. Music helped me get through that. Lastly, two months ago my great grandmother passed away. Music helped me get through that. Those are only the most heart breaking experiences I've had. The Kids from Yesterday has the number one lyric I turn to when I need help. "You only hear the music when your heart begins to break" is that lyric. My Chemical Romance has helped more than just getting through tough times in my life though. They are also one of my biggest inspirations. They've inspired me to relax on my school work and education in general and enjoy art. I've found that I really like writing poetry. My Chemical Romance has helped me realize that, and through this website allowed me to start sharing my work. I've gotten a lot of positive feed back so far, which has made me see that I do have a talent in this world. Even though I haven't been a fan since the start, or even during the Black Parade album. I'm here now, and stronger than ever. I love all their albums from Bullets to Danger Days. No My Chemical Romance has not saved my life, and no this video did not make me cry. My Chemical Romance has made me see, though. Made me see who I am, what I can do, and so much more. I can't put into words what I would want to say Gerard, Mikey, Frank and Ray if I'd ever get the chance to meet them. All I can say is, "Thank you. Thank you for helping me, and so many others. I don't know where we would all be without you."

So long and good night my fellow killjoys. I hope we can all relate in some way thanks to My Chemical Romance.
