Mission: Revenge. Part 19.

“Well, as you could have the guessed the mission went to hell. All of you guys got separated from me and the others. I guess you know that too considering they’re not here. I can explain that for you. They’re dead.” I flinched at the words a little. She didn’t know notice though, and continued. “They would have shot me too, had I not played dead. Thinking us all dead, they took an experimental ward. That’s when they found out I wasn’t dead. I took an opportunity to grab a scalpel and attack them. I managed to escape somehow, and steal one of their cars. Now I’m here.” She finished, looking at Party like she was the queen and he was just a peasant.
“I don’t believe they didn’t inject you.” He countered her story.
Venom smirked. “You believe correctly. Something did stick me as I escaped. It was a needle, but when I pulled it out it was empty. There’s nothing different about me though.”
That must have tipped Party off. He immediately shared a knowing look with Fun Ghoul, who approached me.
I gave him a confused look, and he put his lips to my ear and whispered, “We have to keep her away from us. Just for a day or two. Make sure she’s still herself.”
“Okay, You’re telling her though, and none of this was my idea.” I whispered back, and he nodded and stood next to Party. I knew better than to tell Venom she was quarantined. Things might get ugly real soon, and real fast.
Party and Fun both told Venom that she was going to have to spend the next couple days locked in the basement. She flipped out on them before they even finished everything they were going to say.
I couldn’t even focus on exactly what happened in the fight. One minute we’re all standing there, the next Venom is throwing punches at Fun and Poison. Somehow they managed to subdue her and wrestled her into the basement. They quickly locked the door behind them, and Venom was pounding on the door.
Soon enough the pounding stopped, as she realized there was no way she was getting out. All the guys sighed in relief. I didn’t sigh though, I wasn’t relieved at all.
“She’s going to kill you when she gets out of there.” I told them.
“Trust me that’s the least of our worries. We know what might happen, and if it does we’re all in danger.” Party explained to me with a completely flat expression.
“I’m not arguing that, better safe than sorry. What I meant was that she’s going to absolutely hate your guts, and literally find a way to kill you. Be prepared for a fight is my only advice.”
“Okay....” Fun let slip from his mouth, knowing that what I just said was very much true.
“We should probably tell Flash not to go into the basement because of Venom” Party suggested.
“Where is she anyway?” I asked.
“In your room, sleeping.” Party answered as he went to go wake her up and tell her about Venom and the basement.
Pretty much as soon as he walked into the room, he turned back around and faced us. Fear was written across his face as clearly as it could possible be.
“Um, she’s not there.” He stammered out.
Before I could ask what he was talking about, we heard a scream. It was Flash Drive, and it came from behind the door to the basement.
“Shit.” I couldn’t tell who said, but it didn’t matter because that’s what we were all thinking.
We all rushed to the door, and ran down the stairs. Party was in front and me right behind him. I wasn’t sure if Jet or Fun was behind, I didn’t really care either, although somehow I knew that Kobra was behind everyone.
We all stopped before we even got down all the steps. The site that was in front of us was one of sheer horror.
