Before I start I have a little something I'd like to say. Thank you all for reading this. A huge thank you to Flash Drive who helped in the conception of this story, and the two sequel parts that will follow it. Yes that's right. Two more fan fictions will be written, and posted following the actions in Mission: Revenge. That was big secret too, so I hope it was worth waiting for.
Enjoy the Finale of Mission: Revenge my dearest readers.
We all followed behind him as we started looking for where Korse might be. The sirens were still blaring, and lights flashed ahead of us. It wasn’t stopping us though.
I wished that hall would go on forever, but it didn’t, up ahead there was a lobby. On the other side of it another hallway. I imagined that was where we going next.
Without any warning a door at the end of that hall opened and a team of Dracs filed out.
I still had my ray gun in hand. I gripped it tighter, and the real battle began. We stormed into the lobby, and the Dracs did the same. All of us split up, and started picking off Dracs anyway we could.
I found myself behind a table that had toppled over in the chaos. I had a gun in either hand, and was shooting at a Drac that made its way into my sight.
I tried to keep an eye on everyone else too.
Party and Kobra were in the thick of things shooting at a circle of Dracs that was cornering them in. Jet and Fun were closer to the edges of the room, trying to help them out. Flash Drive had her own problems. Quite a number of Dracs were trying to surround her, but she managed to kick and shoot her way around them.
I continued to shoot Dracs where ever I saw them, but it wasn’t enough. My eyes flicked back over to the hall where the Dracs came from first, and another wave was pouring in. I barely saw him at first, but after a double take I knew things were really bad.
Korse was here.
Everyone had moved themselves around again to deal with the new wave of Dracs, but I had been the only one to notice Korse.
He quickly walked right up behind Party whom didn’t know he was in such danger.
“Party! Behind you!” I shouted trying to get his attention.
He first looked to where he had heard me, but quickly turned around. He was too late though.
Korse put a hand to his shoulder and pushed him against a wall, and pinned him there. Party didn’t dare show fear though. He more or less looked disgusted, but it didn’t last long. Korse put his white ray gun to the bottom of his head, and pulled the trigger.
Party slouched against the wall, and Korse let him drop. He was gone.
I heard someone scream, and I turned my head in that direction. It was Kobra. He must have seen Party’s death, and saw Korse too.
He took quick aim at Korse, and pulled the trigger.
Korse dropped dead too.
Mission accomplished I thought. Things were no where near done yet. Rays were still flying, and one found its way into Kobra’s back, right below his neck. I knew he was a goner before I knew what I was going to do next.
“Everyone out now!” I shouted, hoping Jet Star, Fun Ghoul, and Flash Drive could hear me. Party Poison was no longer here to be the leader, and I most certainly wasn’t going to let that be the death of the rest of us.
I launched myself over the table I had been taking cover behind and ran to the glass doors where Jet and Fun had converged. Flash Drive wasn’t with them though. I did a quick scan of the area, and shot a few Dracs that got in my view.
I spotted her running back towards Party and Kobra’s bodies.
“Flash Drive, No!” I screamed after her.
“I’m going back for her.” Fun Ghoul told me.
I didn’t get a chance to stop him. Jet grabbed me around the waist and dragged me out the doors, and Fun ran back inside to get Flash.
We both ran out and were back in the courtyard where we left the Trans Am. I looked back to see if Fun and Flash were coming, but I didn’t see Fun, only Flash.
She was on the ground reaching out towards me and Jet with tears running down her face.
“No,” I mumbled silently to myself. I turned to face Jet. “Jet, I... I have to go back.” I managed to say choking back sobs.
“Don’t be crazy, we’ve got to get out of here.” We’re his last words as a ray made contact with his chest and he fell, dead, onto the hood of the Trans Am.
I took my chances, and went back to Flash Drive. By the time I reached her body though, it was too late. She had died.
I looked back to see if by any magical chance Fun had survived. He hadn’t. His body laid on the ground right in front of the doors.
I fell hard onto my side as a jolt of searing pain erupted in my thigh. Blackness started to invade the edges of my vision, but I wasn’t ready to go yet. I held onto the last bit life I possibly had. It didn’t matter though. A Drac’s black haired mask appeared blurry in front of my vision. Soon that image was replaced by a white ray gun, and that was it.
The end of Mission: Revenge.
The first of two sequel fictions will begin on Tuesday for you lovely people.
