An Interesting Moment

Before I get into my little story that I'd like to tell you all there's something else I want to say. I know I haven't posted since before the break, and those blogs were just my fanfiction. Not finishing that fiction makes me feel terrible, but something feels wrong to me about finishing. I've still been writing poetry, and gathering ideas for short stories, but I don't think I'll ever do another fanficiton again. I'm sorry that I won't complete the one I was half way through, and if you're really so concerned about it's ending shoot me a message and I'll give you a summary of how it would have ended.

Now, back to the business at hand.

Like most of you I started school again a few weeks ago. Being a senior this year I took many fun and interesting classes, one of those class is Honors Sociology. The teacher gave us an optional extra credit assignment the other day that was to find a song whose lyrics described either a social issue or tragic event. Being the leATHERMOUTH fan that I am the song I choose was Fifth Period Massacre, after making sure I was allowed swear words of course. Today when I handed in the lyrics the teacher decided to play the song for the class not knowing it was screamo. Her and the entire class was shocked to see that I listened to such music, and was even more baffled that I understand the words as well. Before the end of the song she stopped it, and left the room for several minutes. I thought she was getting the guidance councilor for me, but she didn't. In the end I explained to the teacher that while I like some screamo I also love Disney songs and several other genres of music. She understood, but that's just not her kind of music. It had by far been the greatest moment I've ever had in a class, and I will never forget it.
