The next couple months continued as those first couple days had. Jordyn, William, and I continued to train. We all became the best of friends. In fact me and Will were an item.
My abilities were all in check. I could have my wings with a simple though, and so much more. I had control over all the elements, including the cosmos. That was only the beginning. Like Jordyn I could cause pain with a single word, and could teleport and hear like Will. All my senses were very acute, and not to forget I could read minds.
Todd says that is all great, but not enough. Among the other things I have to yet to master, there is only one that can destroy Nymphoria. He also says time is of the essence. Each day Nymphoria grows stronger, but so do I and our army.
Within the month we will lay siege on the dark kingdom, and be at war against Nymphoria and her own army. In fact it is tomorrow when Todd, Jordyn, Will, and I leave to meet our army. Today though, I have a test.
I don't know what the test is for, or what to even expect. Todd told me nothing more other than that it will be a very tough challenge.
When it was time for me to go to my test(which was out in the field) I simply teleported wanting to save my energy.
It was all sunny blue skies with no clouds in sight outside. Todd was already waiting for me.
"May I know what this test is now?" I asked.
"Your test its to beat me in a fight." Todd answered me calmly.
"What?!" I exclaimed. I'd expected a lot of different things, but not that. Thinking about it though, it didn't seem that bad. My only worry was that I didn't know exactly was Todd was capable of. Oddly enough in all the time I've been here I've never seen Todd use whatever ability he possesses.
Todd smirked. "Is that a problem?"
"Not at all." I smirked back. "Bring it on then." I challenged.
"Will do." Todd's eyes glazed over in grey. Suddenly the perfect sky became grey like his eyes. A strong wind blew in rain clouds.
I was stunned. Obviously Todd was doing this, I never would have guessed he could control weather.
It was the crack of thunder that brought me out of my state of shock. Bolts of lightning were caging me into a circle.
Acting fact I created a block of earth from the ground, and moved it under the lightning bolts. This allowed me to free myself from the lightning.
Without wasting any time I stared into Todd's eyes.
"Dolor." I said forcefully.
Just as planned Todd doubled over in pain. I wasn't done yet though.
Continuing my stare, I raised my hand and it came alive with fire. Focusing that energy the flames shot out and encircled Todd with a ring of fire.
"Ahhhhhhhh!" A blood curdling scream erupted from Todd.
"Christ." I mumbled. I quit staring at Todd cutting off the pain he was suffering. I quickly conjured the water from the air, and extinguished the flames trapping him.
I ran over to where he was. "Are you okay?" I asked out of concern when I was a few feet from him.
As if on cue Todd jumped up, and tackled me.
