FANFIC! Part 9

Gerards pov
...................................................................................................................................................
I had one thing to say.
"God Frank, you sure messed it up...."
"Yeah... I was kinda pissed." He sounded apolegetic.
"Kinda obvious." Ray laughed.
We were all crammd at the doorway of Franks apartment, as it was impossible to walk anywhere else without danger of injury. It was completley trashed.
His glass coffee table was smashed, the splinters were everywhere. His sofa had been punched onto its side, the cushions from it lost amongst the mess.
The book case in the corner had been emptied, the books strewn across the floor, along with a bunch of familiar video games and movies.
The kitchen and the lounge were joined in one room, but were seperated by a worktop. Frank had obvoiusly been playing darts, the mugs being the darts, the picture of him and Laura being the bullseye. He'd hit it many times, as it was also smashed and on the floor. Either that or he had smashed it and put it on the floor.
It also looked as though he'd been playing frisbee with his dinner plates, all smashed at the bottom of the wall.
I was begining to regret offering to help clean it up.
But I was already in the bad books after last nights prank, so I picked up a trash bag.
"Let's get going.... we might be done in about seven hours"
Everyone followed my example, going to different corners of the room.
Ray was examining all the movies on the floor, before putting them back on the shelf, in his order of quality. I noticed his favourites were 'Run fat boy run' and 'Hot fuzz.'
Simon Pegg fan.
Steph was probably the most cautious of all of us, so she was delicatley collecting the shards of glass, mug and plate in a bag.
Bob was helping Mikey get the sofa back to normal.
I was helping Frank with the book case. I retrieved the books, and Frank put them where he wanted them on the shelf. He had every single Harry Potter so far, and a bunch of books I didn't regonise. Not that I would anyway, I preffered comic books.
The smashed picture of him and Laura was the first thing to go in the trash.
I'm guessing now was a bad time to tell Frank I had a new girlfriend....
I wasn't seeing her today anyway. I would be doing this all morning, and then Steph had offered to dye my hair this afternoon. I wished i was seeing her though... But I could hardly see her with hair like mine, so I was dying it. Or at least, Steph was.
After about three hours of back spliting tidying, we were done.
"Thanks guys...." Frank smiled at all of us. "I really apreaciate it."
"Awww shut up Frank, you're making us blush...." Bob said. I smirked.
"Does anyone want to get a coffee?" Mikey asked hopefully. " I could really use one after that..."
"I'd bloody love one...." Steph said. She caught my shoulder on the way out. "I'll come to your house after the coffee, kay?"
"Looking forward to it...." I picked up some of my hair to prove my point. It was still stained a sticky red.
"Urghhhh....." I stated. She laughed, and led the way out.

Stephs pov
...................................................................................................................................................
I rang Gerards bell.
He'd obviously been expecting me, as the door opened a second after i rang.
"Hey Steph...." He moved to let me in. "Thanks for offering to do this...."
I smiled and walked in.
"Its no trouble. Did you choose what colour you wanted?"
"Yeah... I think I'm gonna stick with black.... I'll see where it goes from there."
We walked through the lounge to get to his bathroom. He hadn't cleaned up last nights mess, a twister matt was still on the floor, surrounded by pizza boxes and lemonade bottles. It was hard to believe we got in that state without any drink....I don't drink anyway, but still....
He had set it up like a real hair salon in his bathroom.
There was a chair in the middle of the floor, and a bunch of tools on his bath side.
I laughed.
"Okay... So lets pretend we don't know each other. Hair desser and customer." He grinned at my idea, so I put on a different accent. Why not go all out?
"So Mr Way, hows your day been?" He took a seat, chortling.
"Fine....Yours?"
"Oh, okay.... Did you have a nice holiday?"
"It was good.... Had fun...." he paused. "I um, got a new girlfriend...."
I raised my eyebrows. Was he kidding, or actually trying to get something off his chest? It wasn't as if he could tell Frank without getting cold looks..... So I took off my accent and asked seriously,
"really?"
He was like a five year old telling his Gran what he got for christmas.
"Yeah!" He nodded and spun slightly on his chair, a bit giddy.
I knew he was telling the truth.
"Soooo..... Whats her name, tell me about her.... How did you meet?" I asked smiling. He grinned stupidly, but was serious with his answer.
"I met her a while ago.... She's really nice...I'm seeing her again tommorrow...." He smiled slightly at the thought.
I hadn't seen him this happy in while.
Why would he chose to tell me though?
"Whats her name?" I repeated.
He sighed slightly dreamily before replying.
"Lyndsey..."
