Yes I know its ridiculously overexposed and such, but once you get past that, the series isn't half bad. I read the series when the first movie was still a rumor. But anyways, my dad gave me this book titled The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide. Towards the end, there's a playlist of songs that inspired Stephenie Meyer and the exact part of the book where the song seems to come through. Nearly every song is alternative rock. Theres a fuck ton of Muse songs on there, and also some Blue October, Linkin Park, and even one song by The Killers (Mr. Brightside of course). But there are actually 4 MCR songs on that list, which kind of surprised me. To be specific, I'm Not Okay (I Promise) inspired part of Twilight, Sleep and This Is How I Disappear inspired parts of Eclipse, and The Sharpest Lives inspired part of Breaking Dawn (part 2). Now Vampire Money made me laugh, but I do think that they should've let their song be a part of The Twilight Saga. I mean, Stephenie Meyer genuinely has been inspired by MCR, and the music would've made the movies significantly better.I understand that its really overexposed, but if anyone can look over that, its MCR. Just my opinion. Also, I still need a killjoy name (my nicknames include Kat and occasionally Katniss Everdeen, if that helps at al), so please comment with your suggestions.
