What did I just do? This is going to end well. The guys came closer and pulled me away from Christina.
"Christina!"
"Amber!" I struggle against whoever is holding me. I kick, wiggle, and bite. Nothing I do makes the hands let go of me. I'm tossed to the ground. Apparently, it was Moikey who grabbing me. I look to see Christina all the way across the room. Frank tossed her to the ground, too.
"No!" I run towards her. Moikey's in front of me. I have too much momentum and can't stop. I shift my wieght and spin around him. I keep going. I feel him grab me again. He tosses me over his shoulder and brings me back to where we were before.
"Christina!"
"Amber! Help!" I see Ray with him. Where's Gerard? As soon as I think this, he blocks my sight of Christina.
"I'm coming! Hang on!" I get off my butt and try to navigate myself around Gerard. He keeps moving though. I try to at least look over his shoulder. I can't, though. He's too tall.
"AMBER!!" She screamed my name. She was quiet again.
"Christina! What's happening?!" She doesn't say anything. I assume the worst. "Christina!"
"Oh you're not going anywhere. I'm not letting you." Gerard. I need to see if she's ok. That's all I care about right now. I don't care what happens to me. I need to see. I move to the left a little and strt running. Gerard blacks my way. I don't try to move around him. When I'm only a few feet away from him, I jump. I don't make it over him, but I can see Christina. I see Frank drinking from her neck. I look at Ray, and there's smeared blood on his chin.
"CHRISTINA!!" Ray looks up at me and smiles. "NO!" Gerard grabs me and tosses me to the floor again.
"The same is going to happen to you, too." He slowly approaches me. I slide backwards, still on the floor. We hear a crash from the center of te room. The big open space between Christina and me. All of us look at what happened, except Christina. She lay on the ground, hair covering her face. In the center of the room, were two 17 year olds. One boy, one girl. They looked very similar. Black semi-short hair, bright red eyes, and pale skin. Their appearence screamed vampires. There were two adults in their mid-twenties. Again, one man, one woman. They looked exactly like like the teenagers.
"Gerard. Ray. Michael. Frank. Do we have to discuss this again?" The woman asked.
"No," Gerard said.
"Then, you know what we have to do."
"Yeah. We all do, except the girls. And we thought about it. We don't want to be killed." They all surrounded the small group instantly. I took advantage of of this. I ran for the door. After a few steps, I remembered Christina. My instincts were screaming for me to run, but I couldn't just leave her. I ran to her, sticking close to the wall, so I don't get involved in whatever's about to happen. I reach her just as I hear the battle begin. I move the hair out of Christina's face. She does't look pale, but based on the slight flush on Frank and Ray's face, I can guess that she's lost a lot of blood. I looked at her neck. There were two puncture marks and blood was still coming out of them. I wipe the blood away and put pressure on it. From behind me, I can hear the fight getting more violent.
"Christina. Can you hear me? You have to get up now." She mumbled something inaudible. I guess I'm dragging her. I hoisted her up and almost fell down on the ground again. Wow. She still seems pretty heavy, even with her loss of blood. She did tell me once that her family has heavy bones or something. I hold her arms and drag her, staying close to the wall again. She started slipping out of my hands, but I just held on tighter. I'm not letting her go. Not again.
"Never again," I whisper to myself. We finally make it to the door. I look back at the fight. I see Moikey on the floor and the male adult on the floor near him. I grasp the handle on the door and open it, using my wieght. The air meets us, making me shiver from its coldness. The place is emptly with trash all over the ground. What time is it? I fumble for my phone. 1:01 a.m. I'm so going to get grounded. I slap Christina lightly on her cheek.
"Christina. Christina. Wake up." She opens her eyes a slit.
"Amber? What happened?"
"It's a long story. I'll tell you when we get to your house, but right now, I need you to call your mom to pick us up. Also, you're kinda heavy. Can you stand?" She nods and stands up. At first, she stumbles a little, but she steadies herself. She dials her mom's number.
"Hey, Mom. Yeah. We're done. 'Kay. Thanks." She hangs up the phone. "My mom's coming. She's not mad or anything. She said she'll be here soon. I don't know where she is, but I really do hope she comes soon. I don't want be in the dark long. I mean, it is L.A. And the getto part, too." I nod. We wait where her mom dropped us off for fifteen minutes. When we were going to call her again, we saw her car coming toward us.
Once we were in the car driving to her house, she asked, "So how was the convention?" So she really did believe it was a convention. Good. I looked at Christina's neck again. The bleeding had stopped, and her hair covered most of it.
"If I told you, you wouldn't believe it." She laughed.
"I'm glad you two had fun."
Thanks for reading. Just to let you all know, I have nothing against L.A. I just needed a place that has a getto aprt and where MCR has preformed. If I offened anyone, I'm sorry. Comments if you liked it, please. I type for them.
