Forgot/Nightmares

I found this to be quite helpful for those who are having trouble with sleeping and are haunted by their nighmares. Hope you guys live in a peaceful dream as you shut your eyes for tomorrow.

"Do you have a lot of stress in your life right now? Are you taking any specific medication that may trigger nightmares?

I would start by journeling in bed. Get all your thoughts/ideas down on paper, so that when you close your eyes, you're not constantly over analyzing things in your head. You don't have to write novels, even a few words, like what you did that day, what's on your mind, any worries you may be feeling...getting it OUT of her head, and onto paper helps make it easier to relax.

Try deep breathing and yoga...especially in bed.

Lay on your back, close your eyes (think of somewhere relaxing). Now start down at your feet.--point your toes, stretch, and hold in place for ten seconds (while imagining you are "releasing" any negative energy)...Now do the same with your calf muscles, then your thighs...squeeze your buttocks for ten seconds, relax, repeat if needed...if you can stretch your torso or hold in your stomach do so, but I personally think it feels werid--now with your hands-spread your fingers apart and stretch for ten seconds...same with arms and shoulders...now move onto your eyes---squeeze them shut (but not too hard) for ten seconds...release slowly..repeat.

The key is to relax every muscle in your body from head to toe. This may make it more peaceful to fall asleep.

The last advice I can give you (and this is all superstitious) is to not have any mirrors in front of your bed as some may say that any "negative" energy that escapes your body at night, will bounce back from the mirrors and go back into your body.

I hope you dream peaceful dreams" -lily123 of Yahoo!and-
