Well i know ive already posted this but, i want opinions.
Well firstly i would like to wish Bob all the best for the future and let him know he is the most fantastic drummer in the world.
Secondly, im worried about MCR's new album beacuse they keep saying it will be more like 'American Rock', if you get me, what worries me is, its probably going to sound much different from their other stuff from previous album, dont get me wrong im sure the new album will rock, but their sound from previous albums was original, it was art, its what mad their fans so devoted and what scares me is if they change their sound too much they could loose a bucket load of fans, sure they would probably get more fans, but the question is would they be as devoted?, probably not, it seems to me that this new sound their going for its been done so many times before, it wont be original, sure it will be awesome because MCR's playing it but in the end it will just be another band playing 'American Rock' or 'Jersey Rock'.
I mean i know MCR's sound is bound to change, nothing ever stays the same, but they may change it so much, they will loose the devotion the fans have for them, i mean both 'Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge' and 'The Black Parade' were such deep albums, it appealed to people, it helped people, the music was, as Gerard once put it 'A Rock Opera' and with this new album, im worried it wont be as deep and meaningful, it wont help people as much, im looking foward to MCR's new album as much as anyone, its just that it just may be that little bit too similar to all those other 'American Rock Bands' out there and i just dont think they would be the same MCR they used to be.
