its been brought to my attention by Ash (Harmony) that her and Melody (Juliet) have little brothers and i mentioned them in the last chapter. No they didnt disappear im just not acknoledging them.

*Kat’s P.O.V*
I sat on the grass that seemed to become my spot. No one touched it, went by it, or sat there. Juliet sat on my right, Harmony on my left as we ate our McDonald lunches. Albert was doing a really good job running it. I dropped a French fry into m y mouth looking out into the plaza. My smile turned to a poker face.
I mumbled to my friends, “Great… dumb ass wipe bullies…”
Juliet and Harmony grunted as the bullies approached us. There were a few. They were Orc, Howard, Cookie, and a boy I didn't know. Guessing by his uniform, he’s probably from Coates Academy which was up the mountain. The school was for the troublesome kids the regular public school in Perdido Beach couldn’t handle. The boy was holding a mallet while the other three had baseball bats.
“What do you want Orc?” I asked looking up at his huge figure.
He grinned slightly, “We run the FAYZ now. So-”
Harmony stopped him, “The what? FAYZ? What the hell is that?”
Orc looked to Howard then Howard snapped his attention, “It’s the FAYZ. It stands for Fallout Alley Youth Zone. You know, Perdido Beach is the Fallout Alley because of the nuclear plant and Youth Zone because no adults. The FAYZ, F-A-Y-Z. Orc made it up.”
I nodded, “Sounds pretty good but why are you talking to some so called ‘emos’?”
“Because we’re on top so you have to call me Captain Orc and listen to me.” Orc said not caring.
I rolled my eyes, “Yeah whatever ‘Captain Orc’.”
As soon as Orc turned around three cars came driving into the plaza. They seemed so orderly. The cars stopped in the middle of the plaza as kids gathered to see. I jumped up from the grass to see. Out of the sun roof, a boy stood up smiling. He was defiantly from Coates. He was pretty good looking. He wore a yellow sweater that his shaggy brown hair fell on neatly. A girl came out from the car along with a very, very tall mean looking boy and a smaller boy with glasses.
*Diana’s P.O.V*
I stood leaning against the car we had driven in from Coates looking at the kids from Perdido Beach. They looked like filthy savages. I looked to Drake next to me who gave me the usual look of hate and I returned it. He thinks I'm scared of him but Caine wouldn’t let anything happen to me and Drake would be dead. Drake was certainly an idiot but very tall and strong. I looked up to Caine in his silly yellow sweater as he talked to the kids from Perdido Beach. He gave me a wink then knew I had to start.
I went from person to person shaking their hands, reading their power level. Most weren’t even a one bar. Sometimes a one bar, maybe close to two. I came to a girl with wavy blood red hair and shook her hand introducing myself. I hung onto her hand longer than the others.
She looked at me strangely, “Uh I guess you like to shake hands…” She tore her hand away, “I'm Juliet and you kinda creep me out.”
I rolled my eyes going to a girl next to her. She had short dirty blonde hair with a blue streak. That Girl Juliet was interesting, a three bar. Not much threat but this girl was more. She had three bars, almost four. Caine won’t like that at all. After I welcomed myself to her I came to the last girl on that row. She was staring at Caine holding a container of French fries.
I grabbed her greasy hand with a fake smile, “Hi I'm Diana.” I felt power from her serge my hands.
She looked at our hands shaking, “Um hi I'm Kat…”
*Kat’s P.O.V*
Okay this girl form Coates… she’s so weird! I could see her smile was fake and the worry in her eyes. She quickly tore from my hand walking off. I wonder what the fake smile was for. This guy Caine and his friends. They seemed great so far. Caine had introduced his friends Diana, Drake, and this kid called Computer Jack. He looked no older than eleven but was smarter than all of us probably, as Caine said.
I watched as Caine talked with Orc. It made us laugh when Caine did actually say “Captain Orc.” He wanted to get all the ‘leaders’ of the FAYZ together. Its true though, we need someone to run the FAYZ and Caine might be the someone.
