today in science we had to make a comic on how sedimentary rocks are formed, and i got to work with my best friend!! Instead of doing one involving a mountain and wind and dirt, etc. the thing i came up with was a super hero(compaction man) fighting and punching this villan(particle guy) and p.g. explodes into a million pieces and spreads over some dirt that Comp. Man squishes together to make a sedimentary rock.
yeah, i know its kinda stupid but i had like a minute to think about it and then 15 min. to draw everything. Emily helped me finish some stuff but i drew most of the things in it, i was SOO happy and i love drawing :D
and then when we finished it the few people left in the room were completely blown away by it(well not really).
and tonight is the aeneathon, where we all stay the night outside at our school while 'listening' to the Aeneid being read out loud by the teachers, so basically it is like a sleep over/ camping trip at your school with around 300 other children. its my first time going to one of these things and i just bought the cheapest sleeping bag at Walmart i could find yesterday so im pretty excited. The only other killjoy at my school is coming too! :D
i hope the weatherman is wrong again because its supposed to rain tonight! :/
