So there's the Paralympic Parade on today.I have been following some of the paralympics this month,and,to be quite honest,i think the paralympics is more amazing than the Olympics.
The Olympics are extrordinary,really,and all the induvidualls there competing are extrordinary,the Opening and Closing Cerimonies were AWESOME,and the people coming there to watch were extrodinary,but i really do think that the paralympics has even MORE to it.
Just think.
You're an Olympian,or maby just an induviduall with great possibillities and dreams.Hopes to one day become one of the Olympians,travel the world and become one of the best compettitors in the universe.
One day,your whole life changes.
One day,you have an accident doing your faveourite sport.Break your leg,seveirly,the chances are that you can never use that leg again.Or you are in a car accident.You lose one of your body parts.An arm,a leg,a foot.You damage part of your brain,a lung.You loose part of yourself.
They have to live with that the rest of their lives.
They may have to live with it for the rest of their lives,but that wont stop them from becoming a world champion.They have the will power to get back up there.Become the best they can be.
And now you see so many individualls in the Paralympic Games.They didnt get put down by their disibillities,they stood up to it.
Now look at them.They are the world's treasures.Both Paralympians and Olympians.Both are extrordinary.
So i would like to thank the Paralympic Games and the Olympic Games for bringing us all together,for giving those beautiful and wonderful contenders a chance to live their dream.ox
