Some in-studio pics

Hey all! Hope everyone is good. Quick update on the happenings here in MCR land.

We're almost done tracking the record, and then moving on to mixing. This process has been really different and enlightening. When we went to Tokyo for the Summersonic shows, we came back recharged and remotivated, wanting to better what we had done before we left. What resulted was us writing some of our best songs on the record. Lesson learned? Sometimes you have to step back to get to the real heart of things...

Photo-shoot today, and damn't none of my old clothes fit! Either time to go shopping, or time to hit a gym. Neither are choices I like...

Mine and Christa's dog Bauer, who I posted a picture of a few weeks ago, has been diagnosed with CRF - chronic renal failure - which is insane for a dog his age. He's three, and very sick. Unfortunately, its something that you wouldn't pick up on until its too late. We decided to bring him back home to Jersey where he can run in the grass and play, and luckily that seems to be making him feel better. The doctors out here are surprised at how well he looks considering the severity of his condition. He's a tough little guy.

I feel really bad about your dog. My dog Crichton my brother named him after John Crichton from Farscape. But any way he died about two years ago on labor day weekend. He died kind of suddenly. The vet said he died of kidney failure we still have no idea what caused it though. My mom, my brother and I were really depressed for a long time after they had to put him down. We still kind of get emotional when we think of him. I like to think he comes to visit us every now and then. When we got him we also got his brother who I named Maximus Decimus Meridias after Russel Crow's character in Gladiator. We call him Max most of the time though. But sometimes I wonder if he remembers and or misses his brother. Any way I hope you dog gets better soon and you are able to keep your spirits up if he doesn't. (<-- I hope that didn't make me sound like a jerk.) I'm excited about the new album and hope to be able to see you guys live again.

i hope the dog will recover soon, miss our dog labrador breed, we have to give it to another person who can take good care of her. dogs are very friendly, cute lovable even when you get mad to them they still stay kind and very sweet with no bad thinking about you. being lazy drives to become fat heehehehehehhe......

shopping is a drag but at least it lets you get out and about *thumbs up*.

aww there's is nothing sadder than a sick dog :( at least he enjoys rolling around in the grass (what dog doesn't).
i've just seen my dad's dogs they're American Akita's Kai is the oldest he's nine months and he's frickin' huge i swear he could eat me if he wanted to.

i'm going to try and get some pictures of him and Mika (she's six month) so i can put them on a blog :)

Can’t wait for the new album though- I just know it’s going to be awesome! And a new album will hopefully mean a new tour which will hopefully mean you guys will come to the UK and if you do all I can say is “Please, please, please do a gig in Cardiff [south Wales]”

i know im a little late on this, but i just wanted to say how sorry i am to hear about your beautiful baby Bauer :( i really hope he continues to stay extra tough coz he obviously deserves the best out of life...but having awesome parents like you and christa means he already has the best :)
on another note, those photos are tres ama-za-zing! and truly, TRULY, can NOT wait for the awesomeness that will be your 4th TRIUMPH aka, album. :P
