Until The River Runs Red (Part 2)

Dendera sat by the Red Sea dipping the tips of her tows into the cool water. The full moon reflected onto the clear water as the stars glistened in the midnight sky. She looked down to see the reflection of a dark shadow towering over her.
“They'll catch us one day Kek.” She mumbled.
“So.” Kek shrugged sitting beside her on the soft sandy beach. His jet black curls rested on his bare shoulders, his dark brown eyes where set on hers.
“I'm promised to my brother Kek, if he finds out about us, we'll both be executed.” Kek's family was old friends with Dendera's, they came to an agreement where Kek was arranged to marry Dendera's sister, but even after the ceremony that never stopped him from loving Dendera, to keep the royal bloodline pure Dendera was forced to marry her older brother, Darius, to which she strongly disapproved of.
“I will die for you Dendera.” Kek said gently nibbling on her ear. She gasped and turned around believing she heard a noise. “It was just a bird.” He whispered, finally his lips found hers. He pulled the sleeve of her pure white cotton dress down reviling her bare shoulder.
“They'll kill us if they find us.” She said roughly kissing his lips.
“They won't find us. You worry too much my love.” Kek laughed, she giggled and kissed his soft lips. Suddenly, loud footsteps broke their contact.
“Dendera.” A voice shouted.
“Darius!” Dendera screamed when she saw a short guy with shoulder length jet black hair standing in front of her, he was surrounded by two tough looking guards.
“Kek?” The young prince stared at his brother in law. “Execute him!” He ordered. The two guards nodded and grabbed Kek dragging him back to the golden palace.
“No! Darius, I love him!” Dendera shouted, her brother grabbed hold of her and forced her to the ground, he stood on her chest making her scream.
“You have dishonoured us.” Her brother spat pulling out a sharp dagger. “May Anubis have mercy on your sinful soul.”
“Nay! Darius!” Dendera screamed. Kek forced his way out of the guard's grip and ran towards his brother in law. He ripped the blade from his hand and slashed it across his throat. Darius gargled as blood seeped out of his wound and more poured from his mouth, he fell to the floor, eyes wide open looking up towards the night sky. Kek helped Dendera from the ground and looked into her sorrowful eyes. Loud screams and yelling could be heard from the distant, suddenly, an arrow was shot from behind the two lovers that entered Kek's heart. He gasped as his blood ran cold and his heart ceased to beat. Dendera watched as her lover fell to the sandy ground, tears welled up in her eyes. She looked up to see she was surrounded by her brother's guards. She knelt down beside Kek and picked up her brother's dagger from his hand and placed the tip on her hearts. She stroked a lock of Kek's hair behind his ear to see his beautiful face once more. “Heska muta es cas safra mitta Kek.” She whispered in his ear and placed a kiss on his temple, but before the guards could stop her she placed both of her hands on the handle of the dagger and forced the blade through her heart. She grunted and fell forward onto her lover. The guards lowered their weapons and stared at the young teens not believing what they had witness.
